Prologue - Volume One

Prologue : The Man of Her Dreams

"Where are you going?"

"I just want to walk around here in hospital, dad." little boy said.

"No, stay here, you might get lost if you wandering here in hospital."

"But I'm bored!" he whined.

"Let him be dear. I know he knows the way how to come back here."

His father all could do is sigh, since his wife insist to let their son to walk inside the hospital.

"Okay, but don't took too far, okay?"

"Yes, dad." he says with a glee and run away to her mother's room.

The little boy wandering around inside the hospital.

"This hospital it's surely pretty big. So many patients in this floor." he said to his self while walking.

While he is walking, he saw a door...

"This is the only room in this hallway. It seems so special."

Out of curiosity, he walked toward to that door. He is wonder what is inside behind this door. He open and take a peep inside.

"Oh it was empty room, but it looks like a wide space inside of this."

He opens the door widely and he saw someone laying on the hospital bed with many apparatus beside of it.

"There's someone laying on the bed. But there's so many apparatus? Is his illness very bad?" curiosity drawn to his face as of what he sees now.

He walk toward to the bed and see who is laying. And he is little bit shock when he saw it was a little girl who is laying on the bed with a needles in her body.

"Wha? That's absurd to inject many needles to her little body!" worried runs through his face.

He is about to touch the little girl's hand when suddenly someone opens the door.

"Oh my! What are you doing here, little kid? You shouldn't been here." the nurse said as she walk quickly towards to the little girl.

"Is she okay?" the boy asked.

"For now yes. She's been sleeping for more than 2 months." the nurse answered.

"What?! 2 months? How she get eat and showered? And what kind of ill she have?"

"You are too young to understand. You will know if you are big enough to understand everything."

"Ugh~"

They turned their heads when they heard someone waking. The nurse was shock at the same time joy plastered in her face.

"Oh good Lord! You are awake. Wait here, I'm going to call the doctor and your mother." nurse's said out of glee and run away.

The little boy look at the little girl.

"W-where am I? M-mom?"

"What's your name, little buddy?" he asked with a joy of his voice.

"W-who are y-you?" the girl asked.

"I'm Cloud, you?"

"A-Astrid."

"Thank God!!! You're awake!!!"

Suddenly doctors and nurses are came to her room with her mother.

5:30 PM at Anthenerio International High School

When I was about to step out the gate of the school, suddenly someone grab my hand and drag me like a sack.

At Basketball Gym

"Alexa will you please slow down!" I said as I feel the dizziness in my head.

"We're almost there! We might missed him a chance." Alexa said while dragging me for pete sake!

What in the world she's thinking?! Dragging me and most of the students passing by in her way, almost fly away because of her hell run!

*SLAAAAAM*

"Good! They're still practicing!" She exclaimed.

"Oh my gosh! It's Cloud Elliot! I totally forgot that they were playing soon!".

"The best player in the country! That's Cloud Elliot! He may only have a transferee from England a year ago, but he's already used to playing here!!!"

"KYAAAAAH!!! (♡0♡)" I was amazed while watching my crush practicing.

"A few moment ago, you were whining for being hurry." I heard her, but who cares, my crush is there.

"He looks so cute while he's playing." I said.

"She's not even listening to me." bleeeeh \=P.

~° Hi! I'm Astrid Menezes a senior student here at Anthenerio International High School and I am super deeply in love to our basketball star player, Cloud Elliot!!! (♡0♡). I really want to talk to him and meet him, but I'm too shy and it's not my manners or vocabulary of approaching first and that's my big problem to myself that's why I don't have any chances to meet him even talk to him. °^° °~

We are sitting on the audience's seat while watching his team practicing for upcoming varsity games.

"Looks like he put through on this coming event, huh." Alexa said while watching Cloud practicing with his teammate.

"Of course he is."

"Hey, I think he's finish, let's go, so I could introduce you to him." She said with glee and excitement.

And because of that, my eyes wide open like unbelievable, she really going through of this. She knows that Cloud is the man of my dreams but the heck!!! Introducing me to him?! Is not my thing!!! It's so embarrassing!!!

"No, Alexa." I pleaded her.

She just give me a grin smile and she called HIM!!!

"Hey! Cloud, come over here." She really called him!!!!

"Hey! Captain Alexa, what's up?" He greet her while walking towards on us.

OMG! OMG! What should I do?! Aha! I bow my head so that he won't see my face and to think that I am sleeping.

"I want to introduce you someone." Alexa said.

"Well, where?" He said with a joy of his voice.

"Here she is. Cloud I want to meet you my bestfriend, Astrid."

*AHOOO!! AHOOOO!!* (sfx of a crow what a lame 🤣)

"Uhm... I think she's sleeping." Cloud said. Wooooh that was close.

"What? Hey! Wake up! I know you are not asleep!" She said while she shaking my shoulder to wake me up, but heeeeell no way!!!

"Don't be, Captain. I think she's really tired."
