Chapter 1.2 " the Taxi Cab Boy "

Crysto City, East Tomaga Capital

Jim Pete feels very unlucky today, since morning he has experienced a series of problems that have followed and irritated him constantly, starting from the anger of the landlady of his rented room, phone calls from credit card bills and loans, even his girlfriend who asked him to bought new perfume, powder and lipstick. Then his car tire got in trouble and left him working more than 2 hours to fix it, now Jim really feel tired and annoyed.

It was almost 2:00 p.m. in the middle of the day, and he hadn't even gotten any passenger yet. Jim cursed the situation that kept pressing him, today was indeed his unlucky day.

with a heavy heart he tried to get back to work mindset, he smoking a clove cigarette a bit, after he felt better, he decided to try his luck at the Crysto City space terminal, in Tomaga space center, he drove there hoping much.

But the clouds of misfortune did not want to let go yet, things did not improve soon either. when he arrived at the terminal, Jim watched as the last passenger boarded the taxi that park right in front of him, then they drove away. after that the terminal is empty, there are no more passengers left.

Jim sat withered in the driver chair, he lost enthusiasm and was a little upset. even the next news is not that good to hear. taxi call officials state that the next drop off is still one and a half hour away. he reluctantly said he would wait for the next drop off. Jim couldn't just leave, he didn't even have enough money for a cup of coffee right now. expenditure is greater than income, that's the saying people say. so he tried to be patient and wait while swallowing bitter pills.

Finally, his patience paid off, from the direction of the terminal door, A short, fat middle-aged man stepped out slowly while pulled large suitcases toward him. with a limp step by his own weight, the middle-aged man gestured calling Jim to help lifts his heavy suitcases in to the trunk.

the man just rubbed his hips while continuing to chew the nuts that were in a large plastic package on his hand, he did not care and looked bored.

"Come on, man, hurry up a little," the middle-aged man blurted impatiently while putting on a sour face; "It's really slow everything here, the service is terrible !" he said while watching Jim work. he then followed from behind while ranting, on the other hand Jim tried to load the suitcase as fast as he could into the trunk. he didn't want his customer to get angry, anyway he needed this money to cover his losses today.

" where are we headin, boss ? " asked Jim try to be friendly

" Take me to the most luxurious hotel you know man ..." blurted the man with his nasally annoying voice. " and drive quickly, man ! " ; "I have an urgent matter right now !!" he added in a bossy tone.

" right on it, dude " replied Jim, who immediately floored the gas pedal, speeding away from the terminal, he sped through the city traffic, and headed straight for the grandest and most expensive hotel that Crysto City ever had.
