First Encounter

So, I am in front of the school where I transferred. Am also a bit late in the class. I walked fast to find the classroom. When I at the door of the classroom, I knocked and it opened up.

”Yes?” the teacher said.

”Uhm. I am a new student, Ma’am.” I said with a small smile.

”Oh! You might be the daughter of Mr. Lucero?” she asked.

”Yes. I am.” I said.

She goes to the teacher's desk.

”Okay, class. You have a new classmate. Come here and introduce yourself.”

So I did what the teacher says, I go beside her.

”Hello everyone. I am Sabrina Nicole Lucero. Hope we can be friends all.” I said and smile.

”Later who can help her look around?” The teacher asked the students. ”What about you, Khairo? You are the President in this class if I am not mistaken.” The teacher said.

”Okay, Maam.” he said.

”Go and sit beside him.” The- I mean Ma’am said.

Again, I did what she said. I go beside this guy and sit. I was arranging my things when the guy beside me start saying something. I put my bag down and looked at him.

”Hmm?” I murmured like asking him ’what is it?’

”Hi.” he said and smile sweetly.

Ohmygosh. Not with that cute smile. Don't smile like that, it's so attractive. *pouted*

”Uhm. Hello.” I said awkwardly.

He just smiles and starts listening to the teacher again. So, I also did. The lesson they were in is the difference between Chimpanzee and Monkey.

”Anyone knows the difference between the chimpanzee and monkey?” the teacher asked us.

Wait I know. I raised my arm so the teacher would know that I know the answer to the question she asked.

”Okay.” she said and called me.

”The difference between the Chimpanzee or Apes and Monkey is that Apes don't have tails, while the most monkey species do.” I said and back to sit.

”Okay very good.” the teacher said and start teaching again.

After so many hours, finally, it's break time.

” Let's go?” khairo asked.

I just nodded and follow him. We go to different rooms like the Cafeteria, Library, and Gym. And the last room is the Theatre Room. It was so big inside. And also col-

”Are you cold?” he asks.

I just smile awkwardly. He takes off his hoodie and gave it to me.

”Thanks.” I said and smile.

He is so generous! And cute, too.

”We still have time for the next subject. What to grab lunch?” he asks and I just agree.

Cauz’ I am really hungry for real. We go to the cafeteria and choose what food we wanted. I go to the area of the donut and also to the area of sweets.

”Wow. You will eat that all? That's all sweet you may get a fat, buddy.” he said

”No. I’m not gaining any weight, for real.” I said and pout.

”Wow. That's nice. Your boyfriend must be lucky.” he said.

”I don't have one.” I said.

He stopped walking.

”What? You don't have one? You gonna be kidding me?”

”I swear to God. Since birth!” I said and start laughing.

We continue walking back to the classroom.
