Despite the cold rainy night Claire can't sleep she's cravings for peanut butter again, and she's just two months pregnant for now her husband Eric notice and decided to go downstairs with her to get some peanut butter in the fridge.

" Hey sorry that you wake up for this" Claire said.

" It's okay as your husband it's my responsibility to make sure you and our child is fully nourished" Eric replies.

When the two of them is about to open the fridge they hear a knock both of them are confused it's already midnight who will knock in their house at this hour, Eric being cautious grab a red crowbar and slowly going to the door and when he opens the door he sees a girl with an orange hair.

"Who are you?" he asked.

" Just someone" she replies and when she sees the crowbar that he's holding she silently muttered the word wimp.

Claire recognizes the girl though it's her best friend since high school.

" Julia is that you?" she asked.

And the girl named Julia replies with a nod she inquires how she's doing since it's been 5 years since they saw each other.

" That's Julia your best friend from high school?" Eric asked his wife.

" The one and only" Julia replies instead then he looks at Eric face and makes a comment about despite being a wimp he looks kinda cute, and it results to Claire looking at Julia sharply.

" Don't even think about it" Claire said in a menacing tone.

Julia raise her hands saying that she was just joking, but Claire keeps looking at her menacingly and if looks could kill Julia is probably on her rigor mortis now.

" Um... Should I make some coffee for you and your friend?" Eric asked when he noticed the tension between the two.

" Yes that will be great and bring me my peanut butter too" Claire said.

Eric just nods and proceed to go in the kitchen while the two of them goes in the living room.

" Hey this sofa is nice" Julia says when she sits and bounce in the sofa.

" Okay while my husband is in the kitchen explain to me what are you doing here?" Claire decided to go straight to the point.

" If it's about the you know what I'm not going back" she adds.

But Julia assures her, that is not the reason for her visit.

" Can I stay here for at least two days I promise I do all the house chores in exchange" she replies.

Claire asks her why she wanted to do that then Julia replies that she pissed off some unsavory individuals, and now she needs to hide.

" Are you serious the last thing I want is for me and my husband to get involved in that mess" Claire argues.

" You can defend yourself just fine Claire just like the old days" Julia replies.

But Claire explains that something like that might become difficult because she's pregnant.

" Please Claire just for two days promise I do my best not to cause trouble" Julia begs.

Claire is unable to refuse her best friend, so she agrees under the condition that she will not go outside the house to avoid trouble and Julia quickly agrees.

The door to the kitchen opens and Eric appears holding a tray with three cups of coffee.

" Hey Eric someone else will do the household chores for you, just relax for two days" Claire said.

Eric got a confused look at his face then Claire proceeds to explain everything to him.

Meanwhile outside their house something is looking at their house despite the heavy rainfall it seems the thing is not even cold it's just looking straight at the house with it's menacing red eyes.
