Episode 2 - Growing up

After I came back from the hospital, my brothers quickly rushed and grabbed me from my parents and ran away from them....OK so I may be exaggerating a little, they didn't actually grab me and run away like some crazy caveman. Paul gently took me and looked at me with so much love and affection that he started shedding tears of joy, Michael on the other hand asked to be allowed to carry me and Paul reluctantly gave me to him...

Now here you will see why Michael is the stupid and crazy one of the family. He looks at me and smiles soo widely that he think his face is going to rip apart and them he does the stupidest thing even known in the history of the Wilson family...

"She looks so small and peaceful that..that.." Michael doesn't complete his sentence rather he pushes through my brothers,climbs up the bed and pulls a lion king stunt..

He literally lifts me like rafiki lifted simba when  he was shown to the animals. Like who does that?? It takes my brothers a minute to actually understand what he was doing but when  they do each one has a different reaction. Paul face palms himself and rushes to carry me before I get dropped while Michael's twin and Cole just roll on the floor laughing their lungs out.

"I can't believe you just did that" Paul says while carrying me and glaring at Michael.. "What if you dropped her and -

"Hey calm down, I didn't OK. I was just so emotional and having a moment that I had to do it" Michael explained.

"Yea and the next thing you know, you start singing the hakuna matata" Chris said while hitting his brother at the back of his head

"Hey!..what was that for?" Michael asked while ribbing the back of his head. "I'm just saying its so nice to have a little sister around. We could teach her to wrestle,to do stunts and how to climb..oh oh I know we could teach her martial arts" Michael squeals with excitement which earns him another slap on the head but this time its from Cole.

"Are you insane? You can't do that! It's bad enough that I'm stuck with you and Chris as big brothers,I don't need a female version of you both living with me let alone being my only sister" Cole said while moving over to carry me. He carries me in his arms and looks at me with tears in his eyes before saying "she's going to grow up to be just like other girls but with a little twist".

Noone understood what he meant but they just smiled and nodded when they looked at me,they knew that things were definately going to extra with me around...

Seven years later.....

"Oh come on please" I plead with Cole to give me the remote control. I had just returned home and I wanted to watch my favorite show The grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy but Cole insisted that I remove my school uniform,take a shower and eat before I can watch cartoon I mean who does that???....

"No means no Dora,you have to freshen up before you watch cartoons and that's an order" Cole said without even looking up from his book.

"No fair, you're no fun. I wish Michael or Chris was here,they would have let me do whatever I want and you wonder why they are my favourite" I whine before sticking my tongue out to him. After seeing that he is unfazed by what I say,I defeatedly go and do what he says but when I return I already missed a good part of the show.

Now let me tell you how things have been since the last time. I grew up with four amazing elder brothers who loved me so much and trust me the feeling was mutual. I wasn't allowed to do anything at home,my parents got a maid to do things for me and brothers showered me with love and attention.

I'm now seven years old and things are a bit different now. Paul now has a job which takes him out by 7am and brings him back by 10pm and by that time I'm already asleep so I hardly see him. Michael and Chris are interning at a big oil company in another country and come home once every 2months but only stay for a week before disappearing. My parents have to go to work so you can guess I'm stuck with Cole. Cole is in the university studying neurology and I won't lie to you but he makes it lool like its easy. I love Cole but sometimes he can be a real spoilsport, butttt cause of him I got smart. He always helped me with my homework and retaught me all I learnt in school,aside all the books he would take me ice creaming(me screaming for ice cream while he buys it) so I still love him nonetheless.

Now back to the present situation...

"Now look what you did Cole,I misses the best part.. No fair" I say while forming a teary eye. Now if there is one thing that Cole hates its me crying. The stuff really breaks his heart and he always tried his best to avoid it plus i was still too small and innocent to know that that was his weakness. Cole notices that I'm about to cry and he rushes over me and carries me.

"I'm so so sorry Dora boo(that's his nickname for me),I only wanted you to be comfortable while watching cartoon. Tell you what I'll record all your favorite shows so that you can watch it when your done..how does that sound?" He says hoping that it would cheer me up and it works because I quickly hug him and he wipes my teary eyes.

"OK now I need a nap"I say right before I yawn. Cole carries me to my room and lays me on my bed,pecks my forehead before closing the door.

Now I thought I had it all and I was so happy with my life that I didn't think that anything could ruin it but little did I know that I was in for a shock..
