but isn't it his betrayal is way more hurtful than the royal family's abuse

🙌Yes, this statement aligns with me the most. Because in media these days people online indulge in particular stories with this type of people to feed their messes up fetīshes for ‘hot, controlling possessive male leads’ but if you think realistically, this relationship is NOT healthy at all. A power imbalance between a relationship never works out, its just controlling not love.
