One dream

"Hey! what are your plans after this?" I smiled at my best friend before saying I have an important appointment right after this event.

"Mom!" I hugged her tight.

Today is my graduation day. Yes, it's my graduation day but my parents doesn't come. I graduated as one of those students who got high grader or simply says.. an honor student but my parents is not satisfied with those so they don't show up.

"Your late, eat your dinner now." I just nod then walk straight to my bedroom to change my clothes.

I make myself presentable before going downstairs. My mother wants everything to be perfect. I walk towards the kitchen and saw her drinking a glass of water.

"Go find your own job as soon as possible, get it? You're considered as a grown up now.. You should help us provide all the financial needs of your younger sister."

Again, I just nodded. I already have plans and I will pursue it no matter what.

After eating, I decided to get my laptop and check my email account hoping that one of tge companies sent me a message almost a week.

Today I've finished my studies, I have enough money that I can use in searching new job and lastly, I don't have to stress myself thinking of stupid relationships. Yeah, that's right. I finished my studies without having boyfriend or whatsoever. Why? it's because I already have plans.. And I can't afford to lose it.

After several hours of browsing and waiting, my eyes got tired so I decided to sleep but before I closed my eyes.. my phone rang. I checked it and found out that I received a great job opportunity. I smiled before closing my eyes.

I'll surely have a sweet dreams tonight!

"Hey! you're here too! OMG! I'm so excited!" I smiled at her.

"Working overseas aren't thet easy." She look at me and kiss my cheeks.

"**I know, but this is exciting! Aren't you excited? We will meet a lot of people! That's amazing!"

"Yeah**.."

After the interview, we eat some street foods. I admit, I love street foods. I smiled as I see my best friend walking towards me. I can't believe I'm going overseas now.. I look at the sky and felt relieved.

I'm one step closer to my dreams.
