honestly for angel she was as she forgot her own child for other and forgot to such an extent that she started compromising with angel for kia a mother should give equal love to all her children be it adopted or own blood but she didn't do like that just to make sure kia doesn't feel get discriminated at she made angel feel that but i would say maybe she failed as a mother for angel she tried to be a good mother for kia and invested alot of years for taking care and pampering her but she failed to see her real, actual side or nature maybe if she would hv taught both(angel and kia) of them that they are sisters and maybe tried to strengthen their bond of sister they would hv maybe never gotten to this point becuz kia was small at that time it would hv been easy to change her mind, way of thinking, nature compare to now so i won't say she failed as a mother as she did best from her side but yes she didn't become a successful mother who teaches, supervises her kid and i respect indian parents for that people may say they r controlling but mostly indian mothers prove to be a good mother as they give their child liberty with correct restrictions
