New beginnings

Im just a new girl in a new school, not interesting yet right, let me continue. This school is one of the most prestigious schools in the whole world. So it’s already a surprise that I got in because only those with rich families go there. I walked down the halls and feel everyone’s eyes on me I continue to walk, and I can hear them all whispering and I can see them pointing in the corner of my eye. I didn’t really expect the school to be so confusing so I ask a pretty girl for directions. She looked me up and down, laughed, and walked away. I start to feel insecure so I go into the bathroom and lock myself into stall. Not long after, a couple girls walked in, which is normally isn’t a big deal, but what I heard made my eyes widen. One said, “Did you see that girl in rags?” And the other replied with, “How could you not.” And they both burst out laughing. It brought tears to my eyes, but I picked myself up and decided to stay strong. I got in even without money, so I belong here... right? There wasn’t much time left so I hurried off to class. Not to my surprise I see those same girls in the front of the room giggling and laughing. Then it all went silent, everyone’s eyes drifted to the door, where I was. There wasn’t anything I could really do about it so I went to my seat and sat down then I put my book bag right next to me and waited for class to begin. Everyone eventually went back to their own conversations, still looking at me here and there. I just ignored it, five minutes later the teacher came in and told me to come to the front to introduce myself so I did, and went back to my seat which happened to be surrounded by empty desks. Seconds later a mysterious boy walks into the class and took the seat next to mine.

Everyone glared at me. In my head I’m thinking “Like wow chill out my dude. It’s just a guy.” Then I heard the whispers and apparently he is in the top 5 noble families. I feel like such an idiot🤡. Then he said...
