Help! A Werewolf And Vampire Are Chasing Me!
Prologue \~
I heaved a sigh of relief as I slammed my bedroom door behind me. I closed my eyes and leaned onto the cold black and white wooden door as I whispered underneath my breath “Finally...”
Throughout my life at the University of Florenhamper, I lived in its dorms with my roommate and close friend, Teng. He’s an amazing guy. Straight As student, handsome, caring... everything an University (or girl in fact) wants in a person. However, he’s still somehow single. We have our own bedrooms and bathrooms but share the kitchen and living room.
Upon opening my eyes I saw my beautiful pink and white themed bedroom. The bedsheet, drawer door and nightstand were all pink. While the bed frame, pillows and study desk are plain white. The bedroom was colorful yet modest.
I dragged my tired body into the bathroom while looking at myself in the mirror. What I saw was a cute girl with long light blonde hair ending with little curls and majestic deep blue eyes. People said I had a pretty face but really, what good can that do in a University.
“Time to get rid of this disguise”
At the snap of my fingers, my hair gradually lost its shade of gold to eventually become white. My eyes changed colors too, from a deep blue to crimson red. I fondled with my head a little to reveal two white fox-like ears and untucked my white fluffy tail from underneath my skirt.
An annoyingly familiar voice echoed in my head. “Wooh! Hey Kisa, I’m back!” It said jokingly. “Sheila. You’ve always been here.”
“Ha ha!” Absolutely childish, I thought. “You’re a meanie! I’m a fully-matured fox!” Oh right... she can hear my thoughts. I wondered if it’s because I was born an albino that made her into the playful fox she is today. I sighed as I plopped myself onto the bed, that’s enough for today.
That’s right, I’m an animal spirit!

Chapter One \~ Back to School
“Kisa! Kisa! Wake up! We need to go to school!” Great, my companion doubles as an alarm clock.
I groaned as I reluctantly forced myself wake up. So much for being a spirit! I need to get up so much earlier to hide my appearance to live around humans!
I sighed. Usual procedures... I tucked my ears into my hair, curled my fluffy tail into my skirt, cast a spell to change my hair and irises colors. Done! My stomach growled instinctively after I’ve finished.
“Hey! Hey! I’m hungry! Feed me!” Why do I need to take care of such a troublesome spirit? Maybe I should let it starve... “Noooo! You can’t do this to me!” Sheila cried. My ears popped back out of my hair and my tail lifted my skirt. “Okay, okay! I’ll eat!” Damn, I forgot she has controls over my animal parts. I have to be careful in campus.
After redoing my disguise, I clipped on a cute fox hairpin and wore a classic white top and chequred skirt.
Ten minutes later, I finally managed to walk out the bedroom door. The aroma of delicious sausages, scrambled eggs and toast guided me into the kitchen. Being a spirit has allowed me to have better reflexes, sense of smell, hearing, some nocturnal vision and the ability to communicate with canines. Maybe being one isn’t so bad after all.
“Kisa, you’re up! Want some breakfast? I’ve made your favorite sausages.” Teng called out from the kitchen. My favorite?! Sheila’s the one enjoying it the most! I can already imagine Sheila drooling...
“Yeah thanks. Sorry to trouble you.” I replied as I probably do every morning. This breakfast-cooking thing has been going on for quite some time already. Maybe all the girls on campus saw this as their lifelong dream and gave me looks but I honestly couldn’t give two damns about these people.
After breakfast I left earlier than Teng to avoid rumors about our relationship even though most people already know we live together. “Kisa, over here!” That voice belongs to Avaleign, one of my close “girlfriends”. “What’s up, Ava?”
“Did you hear? An A-list celebrity is coming to host the public event!” Ava was practically screaming when she yelled this in my general direction. People around us look startled and shocked.
I ignored their presence and asked, “Who? And what event now?”
“Have you been living under a rock? Logan is coming! As for the event, the Uni is opened to public for one day and all majors get to demonstrate their talents. You know, even if you aren’t that popular, as an idol you should keep up on the latest news and gossip!”
In order to get my living expenses paid for, I decided to work in an entertainment company as an idol. I just got signed last month and am still very much neglected in the entertainment circle. “And that’s why I have you.”
Heading to class I sat down on my usual seat behind Ava next to the windows. Outside the windows bore a clear view of the campus’ running track. It was like a long snake of red that people often visit.
Apparently, our class was to act out a movie called Heist. Heist was one of this year’s box office smashers and supposedly, Logan stared in the film too. We drew lots to decide who got what role. I glanced over to Ava. As if reading my mind, she said, “I got the role of one of the goons, and you?”
“What’d you get? What’d you get? Maybe you’re the mastermind! We’re already sly as a fox anyways.” Sheila giggled towards the end.How I hated this little thing.
I unfolded the piece of colored paper and inside wrote: Female Lead.
