shadows of the past

(in the morning as the alarm clock rang xin woke up about to reach for his phone and xin let's out a groan and sam imidiently wakes up and pulls xin closer and he takes the phone using the other hand to turn it off and he focuses on xin very worried)

''sam:are you okay honey? Do you still feel sore? Do you want me to get some ice? Do you need anything? Water, food,more pillows?''

''xin:mmh...I'm alright *nuzzles in Sam's neck* mmh....just maybe some food and maybe some help sitting up?''

(sam sits up and gently helps xin up slowly taking his time to take care of xin and once xin is seated he goes in the small kitchen xin has in his office *xin actually doesn't pack lunch because when xin works he just cooks because he has a kitchen* and sam looks at xin and asks softly)

''sam:what do you want for breakfast darling?''

*xin murmurs*

''xin: some pancakes and bacon and two eggs and ice cream...''

(sam chuckles)

''sam:you want pancakes with bacon and two eggs and you want your favorite coockies and cream ice cream on your pancakes instead of syrup?''

(xin nods and sam rolls his eyes dramatically)

''sam:alright my Prince and relax over there and let me handle things for you''

(xin's phone rings and he picks the call and sam continues to cook the scent of pancakes cooking the sound of bacon sizzling and once xin ends the call sam calls over his shoulder)

''sam:what was the call about darling?''

(when xin didn't answer sam got worried and he quickly finishes the food and go's to xin putting the food on the small table and he sit beside xin and he notices xin seems hesitant to tell sam so sam speaks in a softer more gentle tone to reassure xin)

''sam:you know you can tell me anything darling...''

(xin looks at sam then back down and he stirs and he nuzzles in Sam's neck and murmurs)

''xin:my ex called....he wanted me back and set up a date....''

(xin has a toxic ex from his past who used to beat him up and used him like a toy and never cared for him)

''sam:then meet up with him.''

(xin's eyes widen confused and shocked sam said that and in xins mind he says What? what does he mean meet up with him? He just says go and meet up with my ex like my ex had never beat me up?)

''xin:what are you saying? Are you insane? Meeting up with him?! NO, NO! IM NOT MEETING UP WITH THAT MAN AGAIN!''

(xin starts tearing up and sam gently wipes the tears from xin's cheeks and he says softly)

''sam:now who said your going alone? *he caresses xin's cheek* I'm just saying if you want to go ahead, but I'll come and even if not I'm staying with you still…''

(as Sam talked xin slowly calmed down and nuzzled in Sam's neck thinking about it sam just gently took the food from the table and fed xin)

''sam:eat up or else the food will get cold''

(xin eats and he forgets about his ex and enjoys his food and sam continues feeding xin and after a while once xin finishes eating sam does the dishes and xin thinks about what sam said and he decides........he will go and meet up with his ex)
