A screen

Firstly I want to apologise the readers for the long gap. I was busy adjusting to my new job. From now on I will try my best to upload the new chapters frequently.

Everyone was sitting in front of a screen. Somebody was busy shearing and liking others ideas. While somebody was busy creating content to share. The world was changing really quickly and many people still hadn't coped up with it.

As for Rahi she never likeed social media. It was a horror film for her. She could feel everyone's greed, lust, sorrow, anger and pain. And there was another thing which she noticed recently that sometimes a gray colored smoke was coming out of their phones but no-one else could saw it.

So she didn't have any social media account. She liked to read books, listen to music but not songs, and there was a thing she liked to do the most was paint. Because only the canvas didn't judge her.

As for Mimi, after Rahi told her about the smoke and all she had also decreased the screen timing. When she had time she was trying to create music for Rahi. At first it was a hobby because Rahi can't listen to any songs. But then Mimi fell in love with creating music.

It was an afternoon, they were in Rahi's room. Rahi was trying to paint something, but she didn't knew what is that she wanted to paint. Mimi was sitting on the bed at a distance of 2 hands from her. Suddenly Mimi asked Rahi,"Hey, have you seen the new transferred student of our class?" Rahi silently moved her head from right to left as a 'no'.

Mimi said, ''I've heard that the new student is weird." Rahi asked, "How so?" Mimi said, "Everyone was saying when he is alone he takes with himself. And if anyone asks him with whom he was talking he says, 'With a friend.' so everyone thinks he is weird or maybe 'taar kata'." Rahi noticed that when Mimi was talking she didn't laugh about it.

Rahi stayed silent for some seconds and then said, "You think the new student is also like me, right Mim?" Mimi said, "Hum, for some reason I think he/she might be like you. But to know that we have to talk with him. So?" Rahi said, " So, you want us to talk with him tomorrow right?"

Mimi smiled mischievously and nodded her head up and down. Rahi also smiled. Suddenly something happened. She stopped smiling and her eyes went blank. Mimi hurriedly threw her phone on the bed and jumped from the bed. At the mean time she caught her quickly as Rahi was falling from the chair. Then she took her and laid her on the bed. There was no sign of consciousness in Rahi.

Mimi knew what to do. She went towards the side table and opened the last drawer. There was a small old box. She took that out and opened it. A very bright and beautiful golden blueish stone was inside. She took that out and placed it in Rahi's palm. And sat beside her. Waited for her recovery.
