Chapter 4

Sir we have a problem." Graham informed me vie text.

Quickly I called him asking what the problem was as I growled in frustration. I was in a meeting that was close to wasting my time and I was so fed up that I wanted to simply get up and walk away from it.

" Miss Arina is missing." he stated.

"She's what!" I spoke loud enough silencing the whole crowd of board members inconvenient arguments about a project at hand.

"Am sorry sir. The car she was in got into an ordeal and she is nowhere to be seen." he informed me.

By the second what felt more of fear than anger bursted in me. Something I've never felt in a long time. And I was super mad that I felt my heart beat through my ears.

"What about the driver?" I asked.

"He died on the spot, sir."

This was going nowhere. I was beyond being devastated and I couldn't take it any longer. Then the thought of my laptop at her possession screwed me over a million times thinking of what her kidnappers would do to her because of that.

"You better have a good explanation on how she could go missing when I clearly sent over your men to pick her up." I shouted bitting my teeth hard.

"Sir is everything okay?" Asked one of my associates.

All eyes were on me. I had no time for explaining myself. All I could think about was Ari, my special one.

"Meeting adjourned." I announced getting up and walked away quickly back to my office.

On the seat I grabbed my coat and headed to the basement parking area where my men were already set and waiting for me. In the car I couldn't seat still. Ordering my men to scout the area for her rescue was all I could do. Though my efforts bore no fruit the only thing that was found of hers was her left shoe lying around the area. That meant she was definitely taken by someone.

"Check all cc TVs in the area, I want her found at all cost." I ordered my men.

I got into action as well when I got at the secret base. There we had all the equipment needed to trace her if she was still in the country, that's if. I'll be damned if those bastards took her out of the country. The thought couldn't settle in as my stomach growled and I felt nauseous. I was ligh headed. None the less she was my priority now.

"Sir, come see this." Graham spoke while his eyes were fixed on the screen.

There she was. Unconscious in the arms of another man. Being taken away.

"Scan their faces and trace where they were going."

This did not help. It only created a sense of alarm. She was in danger and I needed to protect her.

"We have a lead, sir." I heard one of Graham's men speak.

Quickly we both made way to where he was.

"Ten minutes window. They were on that highway." he informed us.

"Send some men there to block every entrance and exit of that road." I ordered.

Graham called his men through the coms.

"Ronnie, you need rest, you don't look so good." Graham whispered to me.

I couldn't believe he was asking that of me. What in the world gave him the courage to speak such.

"How am I supposed to rest knowing she's out there all alone with those thugs?"I asked annoyed.

"... and we will find her before they even lay a hand on her. "he tried to assure me.

" Hope so cause if not... "I dragged the words.

I couldn't comprehend the million what if's... crossing my mind. Tricky yet dangerous, how was that even possible. What made it worse was what was on her possession. It could have been better if she was simply on her own. This was hard, dead hard and there was nothing I could do to help her out of the messy situation I had unknowingly put her in.

" Sir... It's a decoy. Mis. Hamira wasn't in that car." Graham voice echoed in my eardrums.

"What the heck!" I cursed.

"Graham, let me try and understand. You are telling me she's not in that car? Then where is she?" I got more and more frustrated as I asked him.

One second that's all I could digest. Soon the mug handed to me earlier to drink water came crashing as it met the floor.

" Am sorry sir. I thought... " He dragged.

" You thought. Seriously. She's out there nowhere to be seen and I have no idea what they could do to him."

"Give the order sir. We can terminate them once there hide out is known."

Twenty minutes down the line, Graham tried to calm me not to make a haste decision based on my emotions. Finally giving in, I came with a good plan that could actually work but there was a slight chance of success if a percent of it could go astray. Thaw was a five minutes window of success.

There we were hitting the road once my men got to know there hide out. This I made a promise to myself to bring her home. It wasn't the end of everything she had made me feel. It was just the start of something beautiful. Which I was really looking forward to.

"We are here."

Didn't need another alart to hope out of the car and get into action. Five minutes was all that I needed to save her from those bastards. They had no idea who they were messing with.

"Get... Ready!" I ordered

Soon we got into action as I led a group of five men to my command through the main entrance while Graham led twenty men as a surprise attack through the back.

Upon being noticed things got heated up when they started shooting at us aimlessly. This gave me a one minute window till they wasted there bullets. They needed a refill, that's when I commanded for us to pick up pace and returned the favor. Not even less than minute we had cooled the situation.

Walking past their dead bodies all I had in mind was my Himari. Quickly I made way to the basement where I believed was their secret hideout. This made it easier for me since we had studied the bluerays for the foundation to this building.

Something felt so wrong about the whole situation. It was quiet down here. Not what I had thought or imagined. So empty to the extent for a second I thought it was fake. Suddenly we heard gun shots from afar.

" Ronnie, on your six o'clock." I heard Graham's voice the other side of the hallway.

My instincts kicked in and I couldn't deny what I had seen. There she was bloody and tied up with those filthy brown ropes.

"Nandez!" I called upon seeing who the bastard was.

"You know him?" Graham asked behind me.

"Let her go..." I ordered Nandez ignoring Graham's question.

"This is not the right way to treat your last family. Didn't you miss me? Cause I certainly missed you." he stated.

"For fucks sake, he is your brother?" Graham took a step besides me his eyes still fixed on Nandez while his gun pointed straight at him.

"Younger brother." I stated. "Now you let her go or else.."

"Or else what?" he cut me in. "Are you gonna kill me just like how you killed our parents, huh!"

"Don't push your luck, boy." I commanded.

"Well let's see how tough you are gonna be when I put a bullet at your little girl's skull."

He then pointed a gun at Himari's head. My world came crumbling when I heard a gunshot. The next thing I saw was her body lying on the ground lifelessley. My body wanted to give in but at the back of my head I knew I had to do something to put this motherfucker in his place.
