Ep.1- Neighborhood Crush

The stereo of my walkman silenced me from the world I'm currently coping to live and survive.

The dark skies and lit of stars always made a perfect couple at this time. It was refreshing and felt like a beautiful symphony to walk passing by different houses and people I know from my neighborhood.

I look towards my front and saw a figure of a guy. Tall with broad shoulders wearing his uniform which definitely signified he is not on the same school as mine.

Anyone on my age would probably hurry home during this time knowing it's already seven but my house is a 5 minute walk from school and my mom already got used to her daughter's coming home late as if it was a normal thing.

I smiled looking to his figure. It was the same scenario. He would be always ten to fifteen steps ahead of me and I would usually walk from his back and he would always not know for he is always using his phone.

The sight was perfect already for it was platonic. A happy crush in other words and I'm contented with looking from afar. I always stay at my own pace and I know that I wouldnt be able to keep up to him.

It was silent except for the rhytm of walkman when suddenly he stopped walking and I froze...

He picked up something...

'Shit' I was cussing on my head knowing that I always get panic attacks on my crushes. He might not have sensed me right? or he did?

'Act normal' Yes that's it'

I walk slowly just little enough and I am able to pass him.

"Oh" I quickly closed my bag. How can I be so stupid? Like what an encounter but I can't stop stealing gazes at him and I think he sensed that.

I haven't able to hear what he said after because I ranned home which is a couple of blocks. Thank god home was near but for the record I came home panting so hard my mom almost think I robbed someone. Great...
