ASCENT OF THE COSMIC AVATAR
The bustling streets of Indraprastha,
the futuristic capital city of the Central
Dominion, hummed with the sounds of
hovercrafts and the chatter of its
citizens. Weaving through the crowds,
A young man named Kiran darted past
the sleek skyscrapers, his mischievous
grin reflecting the glint of the hovering
Screens that dotted the cityscape.
Kiran had been adopted by the Desai
family, one of the most prominent
technological elite in the Central Dominion, but his carefree nature and
penchant for trouble often landed him
in hot water with his adoptive parents.
Today was no exception, as Kiran had
managed to hack into the city's traffic
control systems, causing a minor chaos
as he disrupted the orderly flow of
Hovercrafts.
"Kiran! There you are!" a stern voice
called out, and Kiran glanced back to
see the exasperated face of his adoptive
father, Arjun Desai, striding towards
Him.
"Hey, Dad,
" Kiran said sheepishly,
slowing his pace. "I was just, uh, testing
the limits of the city's infrastructure.
You know, for academic purposes."
Arjun let out a deep sigh, pinching the
bridge of his nose. "Kiran, how many
times have we had this conversation?
Your 'academic purposes' always seem
to involve causing trouble. Your mother
and I have given you every
opportunity, and yet you insist on
Squandering it.
Kiran opened his mouth to protest, but
before he could speak, a shimmering
light appeared beside them, and a tall,
serene-faced man materialized out of
thin air. Kiran and Arjun both froze,
Their eyes widening in shock.
"Greetings, Kiran,
" the man said, his
voice smooth and measured. "And
greetings to you as well, Arjun Desai. I
apologize for the intrusion, but I have
Come to speak with your son"
Arjun stepped in front of Kiran, his
protective instincts kicking in. "Who are you? How did you get here?" he
demanded, his hand reaching for the
energy-based sidearm holstered at his
Hip
The mysterious man raised a calming
hand. "I mean you no harm. I am
Vibhishana, an Immortal chiranjeevi,
and I have come to reveal to Kiran his
True destiny."
Kiran peered around his father, his
curiosity piqued. "My true destiny?
What are you talking about?"
Vibhishana's gaze settled on Kiran, his
eyes shining with a wisdom that belied
his youthful appearance. "Kiran, you
are not who you believe yourself to be.
You are the reincarnated Avatar of the
god Vishnu, destined to protect this
world from the rising threat of the
Auras."
Kiran stared at Vibhishana, his mouth
agape. "The Avatar? Asuras? What on
earth are you talking about?" He
glanced at his father, searching for any
sign of recognition, but Arjun's face had turned ashen, his eyes filled with a
mixture of fear and resignation.
"It's true, Kiran,
" Arjun said, his voice
barely above a whisper. "I had hoped
this day would never come, but it
Seems the time has arrived."
Kiran's head whipped back to
Vibhishana, his mind racing with a
thousand questions. "What do you
mean? What's happening?"
Vibhishana's expression grew somber.
"The demonic Asuras, long imprisoned
in their dimensional prisons, are
stirring once more. Their dark energy is
seeping into your world, empowering
corrupt individuals to do their bidding.
And you, Kiran, are the only one who
can stop them."
Kiran took a step back, shaking his
head in disbelief. "This can't be real. I'm
just a normal guy, a troublemaker at
best. How could I possibly be the
Avatar?"
Vibhishana stepped closer, his eyes
filled with a sense of urgency. "You are
far from normal, Kiran. The cosmic
energy that flows through you is that of
Vishnu himself. You are the only one
who can harness the power necessary
to confront the Asura threat and restore
balance to this world."
Arjun placed a hand on Kiran's
shoulder, his gaze reflecting a deep
sadness. "Kiran, I'm sorry we never told
you the truth. We were trying to protect
you, to give you a chance at a normal life. But now, the time has come for you
to embrace your destiny."
Kiran's mind whirled with the weight of
this revelation. "So, what, am I
supposed to just drop everything and
become some kind of superhero? Save
the world from these 'Asuras'?" He let
out a humorless laugh. "I don't even
know where to start."
Vibhishana nodded empathetically. "I
understand your skepticism, Kiran.
This is no easy task, and the
responsibility is immense. But you must trust that the cosmic forces have
chosen you for a reason. I will guide
you, and together, we will unlock the
full extent of your powers as the
Avatar."
Kiran glanced around, suddenly aware
of the curious onlookers who had
started to gather, drawn by the strange
exchange. He turned back to
Vibhishana, a hint of resignation in his
voice. "Alright, so what do I do now?"
"We must leave this place and begin
your training,
" Vibhishana said, his hand extending towards Kiran. "There
is much for you to learn, and time is of
the essence. The Asuras are already
making their move."
Kiran hesitated, his eyes flicking
towards his father. Arjun nodded
slowly, a silent acknowledgment of the
path that lay before his son. With a
deep breath, Kiran reached out and
grasped Vibhishana's hand, and in the
blink of an eye, they both vanished,
leaving Arjun Desai alone on the
bustling city street, a mixture of pride
and trepidation etched on his face.
