Ch.1 Trying to avoid your stare

It's early in the morning, I woke up from the light of the sun that sneak out from my window curtains which glimmered to my face and I still feel tired after packing my stuff to my suitcase. It's nearly 12noon yesterday when I recieve a call from my professor about my module, finally He allowed me to do it, but by only in a moderate time when I'm still a trainee in my Dad's company. My Dad was so glad to give his permission because I get to go back to his country and I will be accompanied by my uncle and his son when I arrive there. I was as excited as my Dad because it's a long time that I wasn't able to visit since I was a little girl.

" Seya?" , my mom is knocking on the door before peeking inside checking if I'm already awake.0

" Yup" , I answered while crawling out of the bed. I'm still so tired but I've got to get ready and be fresh before my flight this afternoon at 3pm. I still need to get my materials for my review module at the university locker.

"Is everything prepared? , my mom ask abruptly while dragging the windows aside to light up the room. " I'll let someone clean it after you do your things and let the driver carry these cases to the car " , she said after putting the new laundry of towels on the bed.

"Hmmmmm thanks" , that's what I said while smiling before closing the bathroom door. I showered and change my clothes and got down for breakfast. My Dad was on the table reading newspaper and my mom is still putting the bowl of fresh salad as I sat down.

"We are going to accompany you to the airport when you get back from the university" , my dad mumbled while drinking his coffee. I just nodded while eating my sandwich.

Meanwhile, at the university, my professor bid me goodbye and I gave him a wave. Our driver pick me up, and we headed to the airport. My parents are already there, I have to say it's a farewell temporarily. "I already called your uncle, so take good care of yourself, ok?" ,said my dad as he kissed my forehead. My mom gave me a hug and said, "Call us when you arrive sweety". I nodded and grab my suitcase and headed to the gate counter to board the plane.

It's an 8 hours flight to reach Japan, I'm excited what will happen then. I wonder if my cute cousin Kito is still cute, "Hehe" , it seems like I need to give him a surprise.

'Please put on your seatbelts for landing and turn off your electrical devices for safety precautions', the intercom of the plane. Gosh it gives me chills to think I'm already here. What would be my uncle's reaction 'haha' , gees stop wondering Seya? Your nerve wracking'. "Oh, here we go!" , my heart skipped.

I got down on the escalator after I exited the plane and was just following with the flow, the same as other passengers. We are going to take our bagages before we go to the counters to give our passports. My head is nowhere when I got startled when the lady on the counter ask me for an identification card showing my dual nationality, so I take my wallet and presented it to her. After I finished, I stride out and eyes searching for my Uncle and cousin.

I continued to walk nearly meters before the exit when I sense a pair of eyes staring intently at me, so I turned around and find my cousin Kito. It feels mezmerizing that the intense pressure try to give chills as if his going to eat me. I try to avoid his stare and turn my eyes on the board his holding with my name on it.

"Pfft", I smirked and walk closer to him. "Hi" ,he said, his baritone voice is a little bit shaky. While taking one of my stroller case from my grip." Awkward", I want to give him a scare before I can ask where is my uncle. "Oh, how did you recognize me?", me trying to sound like a stranger.
