Prologue

My alarm rings. It's the start of a new adventure with my best friends. I never wish for someone's death, but it's been a month since we received cases of murder or trafficking I don't know what. just delinquent or gang affairs, I hope this day will be as boring as any other. after my morning ritual, I got out of bed, took a good shower, put on my police uniform and went to the Grimsbourg police. Once we got there, our faces lit up when I saw Jones, Nathan, Alex, Grace, Ramirez and Cathy😀.

I entered immediately to greet them.

It was then that I realized the gravity of the situation and I made the decision to leave Grimsbourg and work for the office. Yes it must. I have to prevent these murders and the sooner the better. I quickly took a shower. No time for lunch. I ran to the chief's office to brief him on my decision.

- I must speak to you madam.

-you agree to work for the office ???

-Yes. If we don't act quickly, the problem could spread around the world and I want to save it.

It is 8 p.m. and to get home quickly to change. By the time we got to Jones', everyone was there.

A tear rolled down my cheek. Would it be a tear of joy or sadness? Am I doing the right thing to leave Grimsbourg? I can no longer turn back the thousands of Innocents who rely on people like us to free this continent from chaos. I wiped away my tears and spoke:

I want to thank you for everything you have done for me since I joined the police. You made me feel welcome. We were just simple colleagues before. And that is no longer the case today, because we have become best friends. I also want to say that this is just a goodbye, not a goodbye. I will never stop thinking about you.

We gave a group hug.

\-We are not going to end the evening like this after all. Said Alex. And 1,2,3 ..... Go !!

And it was music that reached my ears. We danced like crazy. I decided to go home a bit early because I have to be on time at the airport.

I finally came home and took a good bath, then fell asleep peacefully.
