Water

 Walking out of the door the sight before me was, snow had laid a thick blanket on the earth, it's the last day before the winter break and as I walked with to the bus station in a black leggings, white turtle neck sweater, and black fur coat with some heavy boots. I was protected from the harsh snow and by the looks of it the sun was not providing any warmth looking up I felt a chill in the air and so I placed my gloved hands around my nose. Getting to the stop where other student waited in small groups of friends and chatted away happily, before long the bus arrived and we all got on board, I do not attend the pack school as I was not privileged to do so, therefore i attended school with the humans, it wasn't so bad as long as I do not see the brats which i was expected to call sisters faces for a couple of hours I was fine .

  The drive to school involved several stops and so I quietly sat at my window seat staring blankly at the road , noticing a drop of water on the window which had frozen but still preserved it beautiful droplet shape, I stared at the drop intensely and watched in awe as It rapidly started to melt from solid to liquid then it evaporated, what the fuck just happened I thought, immediatel i became aware of my surrounding which I had totally ignored, everyone seemed to busy  with their own things to pay any attention to me .

    After looking around for the last time I stared intently at the window but this time nothing happened I sighed devastated and dejectedly closed my eyes.

    The first half of the day went by in a blur, I was at the cafeteria having lunch in a corner, when suddenly Elizabeth or Betty as I called her sat with a slump of her shoulders beside me, Betty was my best and only friend , Betty was what you call a social butterfly but she had her limit she was there for me even when I didn't  need it, I was really grateful to her, she was the kind of person who bore your enemies as hers as well .

  "What are doing during the winter break" ; Betty asked .

  I lifted my head from my meal and paused in thought before I replied; "nothing'.

  There was actually nothing to do but I pretended to think before answering, I spend all my breaks the same way, trying to stay out of the sight of everyone.

 "Good". Betty replied. "because I have it all planned she said before placing a sheet of paper on the table and smiled beaming at me. "I asked my parent if you could come over for the winter break and have the best, craziest and anything can go wrong kind of fun and they agreed". Betty exclaimed.

   I smiled finally feeling some warmth into my heart I picked up the sheet of paper and my eyes bulged at the more than forty activities .

   At that moment I felt happy and was trying to avoid Betty's smiling face so I was staring at Mark's bottle of water. Mark who many considered to be good looking had his helicopter girlfriend Vicky sitting beside him . paying no attention to them I suddenly realized that the glass of water suddenly had ripples on them, no one had touched the water nor moved the table even slightly I realized that i was somewhat controlling the water, I stared more intently at the water and with the thought of freezing it I noticed it started to slowly but surely freeze before it could completely freeze Vicky picked it up and walked fiercely towards me and splashed it on me, out of my daze I felt the chill again immediately betty was on her feet ready by the look in her face it was obvious that she wanted to give Vicky a beating and the two girls where what we called cats and dogs .

    Still sitting on the bench I stared at the two and got up to stop the girls when Vicky grabbed the desert knife on my plate and was ready to stab Betty, when I grabbed it as it was about to go into Betty's shoulder .

   I felt the warm blood before the pain and I stared as drop stained betty's white shirt, seeing the blood snapped everyone out of the daze of watching the girls fight. Betty face showed worry as I still held the knife which Vicky had removed her grip from.  Betty removed the knife gently from my hand, but I was numb and I just stared at Vicky finally feeling angry, did this wannabe bitch just try to stab Betty, and I took a step towards Vicky and asked angrily .

  Bitch WTF did you just try to do I yelled.

Vicky stuttered before answering with as much courage she could muster . "W- why W-where y-you staring at M-mark its your fault to begin with , Mark is mine .

  Did this bitch think I want her one-star boyfriend who is completely useful for nothing apart his face and family influence .

At that moment I turned to look at Mark who had a stupid grin on his face , as if feeling proud of himself . I burst into genuine laughter which surprised everyone and myself . when I stopped laughing I controlled my self before saying. you think I am interested in this piece of trash you call a boyfriend, darling receive my sympathy there is no cure for the level of higher stupidity you two displa , but anyhow you two are perfect for each other you are think the world revolves around you, now if you would excuse me I have to go to the nurse's office before I am infected with the disease you two morons carry, Oh and before I forget I was staring at the bottle of water, which is more transparent, important and essential to life than you two

    At the nurse's office, my hand was bandaged and the rest of the day passed with betty feeling on cloud nine cause I put Vicky and Mark in their place.

  When I got home I informed Mrs Nancy the house keeper I would be gone for the whole break , I left betty's home address and set out onto the craziest winter break of my life.
