Prologue

Bella's alarm clock sounded at exactly 5:30. She didn't actually have to wake up this early but that was how it always was, she'd wake up 5:30, clean till it was 6:00 and then get ready for school. She immediately started cleaning the invisible dirt from the room. It didn't matter to Bella if there was dirt or not, that was how it is meant to be and that is how it would be.

She was surprised her roommate hadn't woken up to shout at her for making noise and it was kind of messing with her. Her roommate had always woken up to complain of the disturbance and that was how it is meant to be. Bella for the time being decided to disregard it for now seeing as her roommate, Chloe had gotten home quite late and was probably tired.

Chloe was a social person while Bella was more quiet and reserved. When they had initially started at the University, Chloe had tried everything possible to get Bella to go to a party with her but Bella had always refused because she wasn't meant to go to parties and she had never been to a party and that was how it was meant to be.

It was exactly 6:00 when Bella had stopped cleaning and started getting ready. While she was in the bathroom she was having a major panic attack because for the whole time she had been cleaning Chloe had not even turned not to talk less of complaining and it was really messing with her. She tried to calm herself by saying that Chloe had come late yesterday but she still felt her subconscious telling her that Chloe had come later than yesterday but had at least mumbled complains.

When she got ready it was about 7:00 which was late for her. She sat down on her bed and tried to calm herself down before she had a full blown Panic attack. She told herself that by tomorrow it would be okay.

Bella, doing the next thing in her internal calender went to the diner near the University and ordered her usual eggs and toast. While in the diner she did the next thing on her well memorized internal schedule which was call her mom.

"Have you done anything wrong" was her only greeting

"No, mother"

"That's great, are you're studies going well or do I have to take you out of that school"

"No mom, everything is ok" Bella was about to spark a conversation when her mom hung up on her. She let out a sigh, finished her food and went to the library seeing as it was 7:30 and her first class was 8:00.

When Bella was done with her morning classes but she still had one at 5:00, at exactly 2:10 she went back to her room. She hadn't seen Chloe anywhere and they usually had lunch together. Chloe might be a party person but she took her studies seriously, she was in this school on a scholarship, so was Bella which is why they where put in the same room and Chloe couldn't afford to lose her scholarship.

Bella's hands were shaking as she opened the door, she didn't necessarily think anything was wrong with Chloe just that her internal schedule was all messed up and she needed to put it back on track. Before Bella started to open her door she mad sure she looked to the left then the right, she looked up then down then looked to the left and right again the up then down. Bella pulled out her handkerchief wrapped it on her hand then tried to open the door even though she knew it was locked to be sure then she looked left then right, after she was sure nobody was there she opened the door. Locked it, unlocked it and locking it again, then pulling it to see if it was opened then she took a few steps then went back to the door and trying to unlock the locked door before she put her handkerchief back in her bag then pulled out her bottle of hand sanitizer and rubbed it on her hand. she entered her shared room to see Chloe in the same spot, unmoved at all. She went to the bathroom and washed her hands trying to delay going to Chloe.

Bella took shaky steps towards Chloe, she looked at Chloe to see her hair was covering her face. Bella slowly turned Chloe's head to show her face which looked paler than healthy, she touched Chloe's face, the minute she felt the coldness was when Bella started screaming.
