Taehyung

Taehyung lounged on his bed, his intense gaze fixed on the laptop screen as his slender fingers flew across the keyboard. The soft knock on the door broke his concentration. "Enter," he said, his low, smooth voice a gentle command.

Kai, a tall, chiseled-featured man, stepped inside, capturing Taehyung's attention for a fleeting moment. "What's up, Kai?" Taehyung asked, his eyes already drifting back to his laptop.

"Scorpio reached out, boss," Kai replied, his deep voice firm, as he approached the bed but halted mid-room, his eyes locked on Taehyung.

“When can I expect the goods to arrive?" Taehyung inquired, his eyes fixed on the laptop screen.

"Tonight, sir," Kai responded promptly.

Taehyung nodded, his fingers continuing to type away. "Summon the team to convene at the headquarters by 3 pm. Are any members present at the moment?"

"No, sir," Kai replied. "Only Chin-sun and I are available."

Taehyung's gaze shifted to his phone on the bedside table. "What is the estimated arrival time of Namjoon-hyung's flight?"

"Approximately 3:45 pm, sir," Kai answered. "He should arrive at the mansion between 4 and 4:30 pm."

"Very well," Taehyung said. "Notify Sunnie to collect Min from school. I shall depart in 20 minutes."

"Understood, sir," Kai replied, departing after receiving a nod of dismissal from Taehyung.

At the headquarters,

five young men congregated in a spacious yet austere room. The walls, painted a plain white, bore no decorations, and the only furnishings consisted of three couches: two cabriole sofas and a love seat. Three individuals occupied one cabriole, while the remaining two sat on the other.

"Kai, what is the meaning of this?" one of the men inquired, his voice tinged with annoyance. "You informed us that the meeting was scheduled for 4 pm, and now it's already 4:10. You've disrupted my rest for no apparent reason."

The speaker, of average stature, possessed a countenance that could be perceived as intimidating at first glance. However, despite his scowling expression, his features conveyed a certain endearing quality.

"Let me reiterate: I will not tolerate any fucking discord within my headquarters. I expect absolute cohesion and respect. Failure to comply will result in severe consequences, and I'm sure you're all aware of my resolve," Taehyung admonished, his voice firm and commanding.

“Furthermore, I've been informed that members of the Python organization have infiltrated our territory, and none of you were aware of this breach," Taehyung continued, his expression disapproving.

"Fortunately, no damage has been done yet, but I'm assigning a critical mission to each of you tonight. I expect flawless execution, without exception," Taehyung emphasized.

"JK, you're assigned to the nightclub operation. Jong-il will be at one of my establishments, and I want you to apprehend him. Ensure he doesn't escape this time. Inform the female operatives to be vigilant as well. I trust you can handle this assignment," Taehyung said, his gaze fixed on the man beside Yoongi.

“Maybe, possibly," JK replied, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

"What?" Taehyung asked, his tone firm.

"Yes, I can handle it," JK answered, a playful smile spreading across his face.

Taehyung turned his attention to Kai and Yoongi. "Kai, Yoongi, you will both proceed to the warehouse. Scorpion will be delivering my merchandise, and I require you to collect and transport it safely.”

"For the final mission, Hoseok and Jin, you will infiltrate the Python operatives' location and eliminate every single one of them. Ensure no survivors," Taehyung instructed, addressing the two men.

"Have I made my expectations clear?" he asked, seeking confirmation.

"Yes, sir!" they replied in unison.

Taehyung nodded, then stood up, rolling his eyes in response to Jungkook sticking out his tongue at him in a playful gesture.

"Remember to activate your comms devices. I won't tolerate a repeat of last time's mishap," Taehyung reminded them before exiting the room, disappearing into the hallway.

The group exchanged glances before erupting into laughter, with the exception of Yoongi, who remained unamused.

"If anyone witnessed this, they would think you all have lost your minds," Yoongi remarked, his expression bored.

The others ignored his comment, and Jungkook teasingly batted his eyelashes at Yoongi, saying, "Aww, but you still love us, don't you, hyung?"

Yoongi responded with a dismissive hand gesture and an eye roll, prompting Jungkook to chuckle.

"I need to get some rest," Yoongi said, exasperated. "First, my sleep was disrupted by this idiot, and now I'm being sent on a mission with the same fool." He glanced at Kai before heading towards the door.

“I'd rather not embark on a futile endeavor with you either," Kai retorted, his tone venomous.

"Ah, how refreshing to find common ground with you," Yoongi replied, his voice laced with sarcasm as he stifled a yawn.

"Go to hell!" Kai snarled, his anger rising.

"Can't you two just stop bickering for once?" Jin asked, exasperated.

"But he provoked me!" Kai protested, feigning innocence.

Yoongi rolled his eyes at Kai's antics and walked out of the room.

“How do you tolerate him?" Kai asked, exasperated, turning to face Hoseok.

Hoseok burst into giggles at the question. "How can I not? He's my darling, after all," he said, his face taking on a lovesick expression that made the others cringe.

"No, he's not, and stop making that ridiculous face," Jungkook said, nudging Hoseok, who responded with a smack on the head.

"Ow!" Jungkook cried out.

"It's not ridiculous, you numbskull," Hoseok retorted, making a silly face at Jungkook. "You're just envious of my sweet little muffin."

"That's not even a word," Jungkook argued.

"It is," Hoseok insisted.

"It's not," Jungkook countered.

"It is—"

Kai let out a loud groan, interrupting the endless bickering. "Enough!"

"You two are more draining than Yoongi and I combined. I need a break before my head spins," Kai said, grabbing his phone and exiting the room.

"Time to fuel up before our mission. Who's craving kimchi?" Jin asked, standing and packing his gear.

"Me! And can you please make some ramen too?" Jungkook asked, his face lighting up with a hopeful grin.

"No way, Kookie. We had ramen for every meal last week. My taste buds are still recovering," J-Hope replied, standing and following Jin out of the room.

Jungkook's face fell, his smile dissolving into a pout.

"Aw, come on! I'm craving ramen!" Jungkook whined.

"I'm not cooking ramen again, Kookie. And I'm making tteobokki instead, so you'll have to settle for that," Jin called out, now out of the room.

"But tteobokki is no substitute for ramen! Just one last time, please?" Jungkook pleaded.

"No way!" Jin replied firmly.

"Ugh, fine!" Jungkook groaned, sprinting to catch up with Jin and J-Hope.
