First time

Across the street Leena saw a pretty frame hanging at the stationary shop.She could see the frame everyday while crossing Wood street everytime she goes to school.There was this small cafe with giggles and laughter of people, barking dogs with hungry eyes and a spot where Leena could see the entire Wood street getting it's full diversion to different ways.Leena enjoyed using this way.

Like all other day Leena took the road across Middleton street past Winds Street and stopped at the flower shop.She could see the colours flowing everywhere from that corner of the street where the shop " Camellia" stood.And there he was standing across the street.

It was not unknown to Leena that the boy used to be there every morning wearing the uniform of "Scholar's Heritage High" , one of the most reputed school of their time.She knew that he would be there.She knew that this boy stood there only because of her and not for the flowers at Camellia like her.She was curious about his name and identity but she never could assemble the courage to ask him.

Leena took the usual path and went straight to school.On the way she remembered how she bumped into that boy one day on the same alley where they met every time.It was her first encounter.She dropped all the photo copies that she was supposed to submit that day.She lost her favourite Dora key ring that day too.She kept on thinking what made that guy stand there everyday.She had many questions , about his grade, age, and his pupose of standing there.She was kind of used to seeing hm at the Middleton Street.

It was December.Cold breeze touched Leena's cheeks making her look more pale .Leena used to go the local library after the school.Books had always remained as an descriptive world to her.She could imagine herself in the misty wood, in the wide horizon and with warm emotions in her heart of a teenager.

And it was not always for Eddie to co-operate in school.Eddie was very active in his academic affairs until he lost his reasons to.His mother passed away at a tender age and his father went overseas. He was then transferred to his maternal grandparents for his rearing.It was when Eddie learned the affection one gets from persons other than his mother.Eddie is now 19 years old.And the blossom of spring has hit him when he first bumped to Leena who is a regular to the Middleton street.

Eddie had kept the Dora Ring which he picked from the very spot to give it back to her, the unidentified girl but couldn't give.He loved the long black hair or Leena and her bug eyes.It amused him how Leena used her fingers to count the flowers at Wood street.
