Chapter 2

***Blue's P.O.V***

The fire started pulsing weirdly as if it were a jellyfish. Immediately I jumped back alarmed. The fire or rather ball of fire moved to the place I was just standing in and slowly started to take a humanoid form, I stood transfixed...and that's when I came to the only logical conclusion, this was all part of my weird nightmare. Stuff like this doesn't happen in real life!

Idecided to do the only thing I could do to show my nightmare that I was in control, I rushed and grabbed a fire extinguisher from the nearest cabinet and then sprayed it on the freaky humanoid, but to my surprise nothing happened. It was only when the fire actually started to become a human did I finally scream. The alien looking thing had now transformed into a boy. He was about my age, maybe older. He had lucious brown hair, a sharp jawline, a lean but well built figure and was being complimented by the tunic he wore. It was long and touched the floor, his chest was bare but thankfully that was all.

I marvelled at how breathtaking and stunning the tunic looked, it looked as if it had been made from the softest fabric ever existing, it had been made with vibrant colours of red, orange and yellows, together they looked breathtaking. They were weaved together marvelously. The 'thing' stared at me and I stared back not knowing what to do. He opened his mouth as if to say something but all that came out was a raspy sound. Smoke rushed out from his mouth and threw him into a coughing fit. Dread gripped me and I screamed as loud as I could. The 'thing' or 'creature' whatever the hell it was winced and covered it's ears.

My breath came out ragged as I awaited certain doom. "Woah! You humans sure do love to scream." he said. "Wait--what? You can talk?" I asked perplexed. "What does it look like I'm doing?" he asked. "Then what the hell was that before?" I asked. "That, was thanks to the courtesy of your little fire extinguisher. It doesn't really hurt me but it sure doesn't make me feel comfortable. But I'm fine now, no thanks to you!" he said with a scowl. "What are you?" I asked him. "I am fire." he said with such pride, like he expected me to fall to my knees and kiss his feet. Like that would ever happen! "Um ... okay, Do you have a name? One that I can pronounce?" I asked sardonically. "One that you can pronounce?" he asked confused.

" Well isn't it alien 101 to have unpronounceable names?" I said with a shrug. Confusion gripped me, why was I being casual with this? " I am not an 'alien'. As I said before I am fire. I've been here since the beginning of time. And no, I do not have a name. It is deemed unnecessary for me and my siblings." he said. "Um... okay." I said awkwardly. "You may call me fire since that is what I am, it seems fitting that you address me as such, unless you would prefer to call me Your Highness." he said. "What? No way! Fire's fine!" I exclaimed. He just nodded his head. "So... what now? I'm supposed to go running while you come after me with whatever weird 'powers' you have or something?" I asked. I just wanted to get this over with but it was going agonizingly slow for a nightmare.

"I'm confused." he said frowning. I almost wanted to kill myself and be over with this... well almost. "Well, Mr. Fire, for a killer you're really slow!" I said with a sigh. This just wasn't making any sense! What kind of a killer just stands there, talking to you? Maybe a psychotic one...

tch he made a sound with his tounge "You humans are quick to mark others with labels, aren't you?" he quipped. "You are quick to judge people, aren't you?" I shot back and he smiled "As you know, I'm as old as time so I've had plenty of time to judge you and people like you." he said sumgly.

I refrained from a snarky comeback and tried to focus on more pressing matters. "What do you want from me?" I asked him. " Oh well, that's simple. I need you to serve me and fulfill your duty as my servant." he said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "What? servant? Are you crazy!?" I yelled at him. "Crazy? No? Why would I be crazy?" he asked genuinely confused, I had to remind myself that it was just an act. "Look, if you think that you can just barge into someone's house and tell them to serve you, I'm surprised you've not been put into a psych ward yet!" I yelled back.
