Chapter one: Planet Amphibiosha

The Planet: Amphibiosha is an earth sized, oxygen rich planet. Almost the entire planet is covered in dense swampland except the ice caps. It orbits a star so large its habitable zone holds 3 planets.

The Civilized Race: the Civilized Race of Amphibiosha are the Amphibioshans, they resemble giant, skinny, humanoid frogs. The females are 7 feet tall on average, and the males are 8 feet tall on average.

They eat mainly Alge through a long straw-like tongue.

Amphibioshan history: all that is known about their history is for millions of years they were much smaller, about 2 feet tall, and were mostly defenseless prey. They would use their plant colored skin to blend in to flora.

One day, approximately 1 million years ago a civilized race called the Cephilofolk from a neighboring planet in the same star system came to Amphibiosha and gave the defenseless Amphibioshans anti-gravity technology. The small ancestors to modern Amphibioshans used this tech to create floating habitats above the wild and dangerous swamps.

Modern Amphibioshan culture: as previously stated, they live in floating habitats that resemble islands with homes. An Amphibioshan home is typically made of a steel shell with promptly spawnwood interiors. Their floors are shallow pools often a few inches deep, Their yards are similar.

As previously mentioned, they all slurp up a type of alge, testing shows they can eat alge that was from earth before its destructionThey typically eat it from a carved spawnwood bowl through their long straw-like tongues.

Interactions with Amphibioshans will show you that they are incredibly friendly, and this is likely due to their origin as a prey animal. Note: they might be some of the friendliest races in the galaxy, but they can still be provoked.

Amphibioshan clothing: they typically wear a jumpsuit made of a very soft yet tear resistant moss-like material. This material it grown on farms, alongside the alge they eat.

Armor-wise, they sometimes put titanium armor plates over their garbs, they also utilize jetpacks in daily life, and on missions.

Amphibioshan weapons: as previouslymentioned, they're typically friendly, but they do utilize antimatter based pistols when needed.

Other animals on Amphibiosha: there are mostly small reptilian lifeorms, the most common of which are called "marsh newts" I would write what the Amphibioshans call them, but there are no letters in the English alphabet that can accurately spell the pronunciation. The closest I can get is "swertvaut"

Another notable animal on Amphibiosha is the planet's top apex predator, which English speakers call "crocomorphs" (native name is something that is pronounced similar to "krakamoka")

They are semi-bipeadal, very fast, very strong, and very intelligent for a non-civalized species. They have been discovered to be able to coordinate hunt tactics, remember the face and voice of prey that gets away, and form emotional bonds with members of their species.

Missions to the planets surface Almost always result in casualties from these creatures.

They're credited as the number one reason the Amphibioshans moved to the sky.

The weather: The planet has two seasons.

"Huat riyn" or hot, rain were it's hot and rains alot. And "couad sniew" or cold, snow, basically winter.

Civilization's elegability to have members in the professor's guild: YES.

Amphibioshans have an average IQ of 192. Some of them are able to reach and even exceed the 200 IQ requirement to be allowed to join.
