CHAPTER TWO

Summer break was over and it was time to start a new academic section.Kim attend Redcrest High which is a very famous school in my country and i attend Normane Valley High .I attended Redcrest High before but Mrs Fiona changed it after my mom and dad passed

           It was early Monday morning and we were getting ourselves ready for school,Kim had bought everything she needs for the new academic section and i will make do with my old stationary since I had nobody to buy me a new one .so I got dressed wore my uniform,I took my backpack and I went downstairs,i checked the time and I realised I was running late already, I have been working since morning so I had no time to the clock so I dashed out of the house

         When I arrived at school, since it was my first day I had difficulties finding the classroom and the library, due to all the clumsiness caused by me i bumped into a girl and my books

      "Ouch"the girl said

      "I'm so sorry"i apologised

    "It's okay" the girl said

    "Uhmm...by the name am Amelia"the girl said she is so beautiful but pale she is so pale and i can guess she is a nerd because of her look i mean i can always identify a nerd by their looks

     "I'm Sapphire...Sapphire Lynwood"i said

      "Such a nice name and nice to meet you"she said

     "My pleasure" i replied

     So Amelia walked me into the hallway and she showed me my class since we were both in the same grade and same class.when we walked into the class the students were having literature in English and we were going to be reading a book by William Shakespeare A Midsummer Night's Dream

     The tutor was facing the board and she all of a sudden turned back cause the students were murmuring

     "One class please" said the tutor dropping the white board marker on her desk

     "So our today's topic is.....uhmm i guess we have a new student joining us" she said pointing at me " hey, you there you may introduce yourself" she said

        "Hello everyone, my name is Sapphire Lynwood"I answered.I don't know where I got that boldness and courage from

     "So ,our today's topic is a mid summer night by William Shakespeare, I guess you all know the man ,he is my mentor"the teacher said.she introduced herself as Miss Catherine

      "Yes ma'am" the class answered

   "Who can summarise the play for us" Miss Catherine said and Amelia raised her hand and she was chosen, She summarise the beyond the teacher's imagination

      "A round of applause for her" Miss Catherine ordered. I was taken aback by her courage and boldness, I'm very shy but i was always not like that I've been like that since mom and dad passed because i always follow mom and dad for an interview when they are both alive

                     Kim's POV

    Today is the first day of school after summer holiday , I got up early because I want to go early to school, I wore my uniform which was a short black mini plotted skirt, and a white sleeve shirt,mom insisted on wearing panty hose to the skirt because she believed it was too short which I don't really think so, well back to business ,I combed my hair as it floats down my shoulder and to be sincere my hair is actually very long. After I was done combing my hair, I applied slight makeup and wore a strawberry flavoured lip gloss, I wore my loafers and carried my backpack then I went downstairs to have my breakfast

        The driver dropped at school and gosh I was feeling myself the boys were dropping dead for me ,they were so mesmerised.I saw Lucas,Lucas Brooks the hottest boy is high school and we both love each other so much , we go on date etc

     "Hi Lucas"I said

       "Hey Kim" he replied"how was your holiday"he said hugging and pecking me

        "Great and yours" I asked blushing

        "Good"he answered folding his arms round my shoulder and we both made our way to class , the teacher was taking physics

        "Arggggg" I grunt in my head ,I just hate that subject i wasn't even paying attention all i was hearing was

      "The motion law which is the newton law and the first law if motion  states that ...bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla" was all i can hear till the end of the class, gosh I can't wait to get home and go on a date with the love of my life

                 SAPPHIRE'S POV

    It was closing time and school had just dismissed, Amelia and I decided to walk together ,we gist, chat and I can't wait to tell Havana about the new friend I made because Havana attended a different school from ours. We closed early today so I decided to say hi to Havana On my way home because her street comes before mine when I noticed Amelia had been following me

     "Aren't you going home" I asked

      "I am ...uhmmm...I lived in the next  street with my mom"she replied

     "Wow , I also lived around here " I said excitedly

    "That means we can always meet each other even on weekends"Amelia said

     "Yeah" I answered thinking whether Mrs Fiona would let me

      So we part ways and I went to Havana's house.when I got there I saw Havana in the parking area doing her homework so she told the security man to open the gate for me which he did and I went in, I gust her about Amelia ,I told her Amelia is sick beautiful and nice,I told her Amelia's favourite food and colour is the same as hers which was purple and pastry respectively, Havana was happier than I was and she told me she wants to go See Amelia but the security man didn't let her

      When I got to the door step I thought out loud

                 " O lord not again"I entered the house and I went to my room to change into something casual and i came downstairs to do my chores such as cutting the flowers so as to make it equal, doing the dishes and mopping the floor. When I was done Mrs Fiona told the chef to give me a small portion of food which I ate because I need that energy to find mom and dad because i can't believe they are both dead. I went to my room and lay down peacefully
