“All hail our empress Zhi Mian” they all cheered at this beautiful woman sitting before them and she had charismatic eyes that were as dark as the night sky and her hair was no less and was long and sleek, she gave a gaze at everyone and smiled to reveal her luscious red lips. She stood up and was adorned by flowers and then finally primped her hair and all could see her valuable ring and it shined really brightly and then everyone was silenced.

“Is that ring for sale?” everyone stopped and looked at a strange man coming towards them and then Zhi was clenching her fist tightly and was infuriated by his absurd question.

“No it is not how dare you enter -!” she raised her voice at him and looked at his seductive face and his hair was also very long and dark like hers but little did she know he was an emperor and then he told everyone to leave.

“Halt! No one shall leave!” she commanded but the guards listened to him rather than her and she noticed they were his own guards and they escorted everyone outside the palace.

“You may now leave to your respective homes” the emperor smiled at them as they left and then Zhi looked at him.

“Tch!” she started to walk away and then he grasped her hand and then forced it behind her back.

“Ah! This kind of attitude will get you- ah!” she could barely speak and then he pulled her closer to him after releasing her arm.

“You have no right to defy me, all I am after is your ring and also you” he smirked and she laughed hysterically.

“Fool to think I’d give up something so precious and to give myself to you” he grew more and more obnoxious after hearing her speak and then choked her by pressing on her neck and then she slightly lost consciousness and then he caught her as she started to collapse and then he kissed her.

“Zhi Mian do not ever forget this for as long as you live” she was baffled by his sudden move and wanted to be freed from his arms but his warmth was what attracted her. She covered her mouth after she was kissed.

“I would rather die than give up this ring to anyone” she stated and he looked at her dumbfounded and then noticed her tears falling onto her ring and then patted her head gently out of sympathy.

“I went too far I apologise” he told her and then he covered his mouth in shock.

“What am I saying is she seducing me??” he thought to himself and she simply looked away.

“Hmph!” she retorted and he warmly smiled at her and she blushed.

“Always keep this with you and treasure it okay?” he told her and she nodded gently.

“And who might you be Mr Emperor?” she smiled but had slight remorse for him.

“Shen Lei” he responded and then she showed him to the door.

“What is your reason for wanting this ring?” she gave him a defiant glare and was eager to know.

“Someday that ring and you will be mine!” he winked and she grew annoyed at him once again.

“I’ll avenge that kiss someday!” she seemed evil and then he touched his lips.

“I look forward to it my sweet Zhi” he blew a kiss at her and smirked again and she not only blushed but was moved by his words but reacted in anger.

“No Zhi Mian what are you doing? Why does my heart race like this? after he left she had these feelings and was unsure of how to react and then sat on her throne and gazed the ring.

“You gave this to me my love and together shall we be that’s our dear promise” she spoke aloud and then some guards entered with news.

“My lady the Lei Kingdom is organising a ball and insists you to assist” the guard knelt and she was jaw-dropped and then reluctantly nodded.

“That Shen Lei!!” she gently gritted her teeth.
