Chapter 1

Before reading this story I would like to remind all of you that English is not my first language so there might be some mistakes but I will improve myself as I make my story I hope you'll like it.

My name is  Audrey Nichole Richter and i'm a daughter of the Prime Minister of Arelia. I'm the most doted daughter in our manor and I'm just 16 yrs old. I can always do whatever I want but I still need to keep my image as a daughter from a noble family.

As a daughter of an official I always use a carriage when I travel, my other sisters don't. But I always secretly give them gifts from the capital. I have 1 older sister she is 25 years old and is now married off to a noble family and I have 2 younger sisters they are twins, they are 9 yrs old. I also have 3 brothers, each one is from different mothers. They're ages are 25,23,18, 2 of my brothers are already married.

As I reach my marriageable age I'm scared because I don't know who I'm gonna be married off to and I don't wanna be away from my family the marriageable age here is 18 years old. As I went though the market I saw a guy that was stealing silver from a store as an eye witness I stayed there longer to see what would happen next 'cause I don't wanna be involved in that type of a situation. As I was staring at a distance he saw me spying on him. So he ran to me and said "Stop right there you thief". I was shocked when he said that so I said to my servants to let's get out of here. As the guy was chasing my palanquin I thought of a plan I told my servants to head to our manor and they said "No my lady your gonna get in trouble or perhaps we're gonna get in trouble" and I said "Don't worry I have a plan".

As we we're near our place I the thief catched up and went inside it. He held me in hostage he said while he covered my mouth " You think you can get away from me" and I bit his hand that covered my mouth and I shouted to ask for help. My father heard it and went outside of our place and he said " Stay away from my daughter." Huh, my plan is working smoothly, the guards arrested the man and found the silver that he stole. " Serves him right" I said in my head.

The man cried and said I didn't stole it. Huh?? he didn't stole it then what was that. " My sweet daughter are you alright?" my dad said and I said " I'm fine father I was just frightened". "You come with me we have to interrogate you" said by my father. As I went inside my house I was welcomed with a slap. "How could you be so irresponsible." said by the first wife of the family, "I..I'm sorry I didn't know" i said.

Father saw the whole situation and..."What are you doing with my daughter!" said by my dad "I-i thought you already left" she said."So you like me to be not at my own manor woman!" he said. "F-father finally you're here." i said while crying, i'm only acting so that my father will take my side more than his wife. The reason why I hate house first wife is because she is a demanding woman. She always liked to boss around people and not giving them their salary, she threatened them if they speak up about the situation she'll kill them her self.

"You get out of my house right now! And don't ever come back" he said to her angrily. "No! Please forgive me I'll never make the same mistake again! Please." she said. "What do you say Audrey." he said. " Let her stay Dad she said she won't make the same mistake again." I said. "My daughter is so kind. You heard her she'll let you off this time so don't do it again!" he said.""Yes my Lord I won't do the same mistake again" she said with a sigh of relief.

A day passed in our manor me and my mother had breakfast with our father we talked about on what happened at my dad's work and asked if what I'm planning to do but suddenly a messenger came and.."My Lord ,my Lord the king has sent an invitation for you and your selected guests." he said."What is the purpose of the invitation?" he said. While catching for breath the messenger said " It's about for a ball arranged by his Majesty".
