CHAPTER 3

'Lily....who is this young lady that Ben has come to like' Ben's father thought to himself.

Ben happyly came downstairs for dinner,but Leon (Ben's father) noticed something different about Ben. Usually when Ben sees his father he would always pout and ask him why he did not pick him up from school, but today Ben just greeted him and sat down quietly to for dinner with a really big smile on his face.

Leon didn't give much thought to it and was actually glad that his son did not question him.

They finished dinner and went to bed but Ben did not go to sleep immediately but stayed up to finish his drawing.

The next day was Saturday, Ben slept longer than usual. It was almost noon and he was still sleeping. Leon wanted to wake him up but was told that he slept late last night and on top of that it was the weekend, but still.

"Why is that?"

"Young master Ben was drawing late last night sir" Jeffrey gave a quick response. "Just go and wake him up he needs to have breakfast". As soon as Leon finished his sentence Ben was already downs. He was already dressed up in his favorite outfit and outing bag. He walked towards his father and stopped about a feet away from him, the he raised his little head to look at his father.

"Where are you going young boy" Leon asked his son and what he got in response was his so batting his eyes at him with a smile, he wants something.

"What do you want"

"Well.....I was wondering if I could meet a friend" then he rummaged through his bag and brought out a drawing to show to his father "I want to give this to her".

"And who might this friend be" Leon asked with a questioning look on his face. Who was this friend that his son could not wait till Monday to give her the drawing. "Her name is Lily and she is my friend". He smiled when he said her name.

'Lily, is that not the lady he met yesterday. Why would he want to give her a gift'

Leon looked at his son who was given him puppy dog eyes and thought for a while. "Fine, but have breakfast first I will drop you off personally ok?" "Yay, thank you daddy".

As soon as Ben was done with his breakfast they set off and soon arrived at Lily's house. Ben literally jumped down from the car and ran to Lily's door and knocked a few time but she did not answer. He waited a while and then knocked again but yet again no answer, Ben looked at his father and asked him to help him knock on the door because his hands were small and was already starting to hurt. Leon looked at his son and saw that he was about to cry so he decided to help. Truth be told he was already pissed they had been standing outside for about ten minutes and she is yet to answer the door. Leon knocked on the door, "maybe she is not home, let us go home and come back another time" "maybe" Ben was on the verge of crying. "Let me try one last time, if she does not answer then we will come back another time ok?" Leon spoke ever so gently to his son. He loves his son and would not want him to be sad, so he knocked on the door again but this time he added force like he wanted to break down the door.

"Daddy don't break the door" Ben was a bit startled, he just wanted to see Lily and give her a gift but it seems she is not home or does not want to see him. Just then Lily opened the door.

She had her eyes half way open, her hair was in a messy state,and she was wearing only a shirt that was big enough to reach her mid thigh but so big it was falling of her left shoulder reveal her smooth shoulder. But what was worse was the fact that she was not putting on a bra and Leon noticed. Ben on the other hand was so excited to see Lily that he rushed towards her and hugged her leg. " Lily!".

Lily's pov

It was ten in the morning and Melody woke me up to lock the door behind her, she was stepping out to buy some groceries but what I did not understand was why she woke me up to lock the door. She could have just locked it from the outside. "There is no more food in the house so I will head out to buy just a few things, there are still two pieces of bread left so you can toast it as your breakfast when I get back I will make a big lunch for you ok, are you even listening to me?", "yes, yes, you said I should eat toast for breakfast that you would make a big lunch for me" I said with my eyes half closed. Melody just looked at me and smiled"I will take the spare key just in case, make sure to lock the door". I was still very sleepy so I did not answer her and just locked the door and staggered back to my bed.

It was like the universe did not want me to sleep because a few minutes after my head hit my pillow I heard a knock on the door. I thought it was Melody, but she has the spare key why is she knocking on the door. She kept knocking and knocking but I ignored her, she is not going to ruin my sleep. I stayed up all night making cookies and pastries for an event and did not sleep until early this morning .

Melody kept on knocking and knocking but I refused to give in I have to sleep. Soon the knocking stopped and I thought she had given up but then a few minutes, no, a few seconds later I hear another knock on the door and this time it was really loud. I thought Melody must be really pissed so I quickly got up from bed and rushed to open the door. I wanted to see Melodys face but the sun would not let me open them completely.

"Lily!"

I felt something small on my leg, then I looked down and saw....wait is this not Ben. Ben was hugging my leg and he looked like he was crying and all the sleep in my eyes vanished that instance and I bent down to take a close look at him and saw that he had tears in his eyes.

"Ben what happened, why are you crying, who hurt you, where are you hurting" I asked while examining his body carefully to make sure he was not hurt.

"Is this how you great all your guests?"

I looked up to see a man probably in his late twenties that looked exactly like Ben, the same color of eyes but mature, with jet black hair, smooth skin, a defined jaw line, thin sexy lips,.....wait what am I even thinking.

I noticed he had caught me staring at him, I blushed and looked down before asking "what do you mean". He pointed at me, no my chest and said "first of all you keep us standing outside for about ten minutes, Ben has been knocked on the door all this time his hands were starting to hurt and when you finally open the door you step out not wearing any undergarments".

I look at my chest and realized that indeed I was not wearing a bra, I quickly hugged my chest. Ben saw that I saw blushing an hugging my chest after what his father said then he hugged me and shouted at his father "bad daddy, don't look".

I was touched that Ben was doing this, I only met him yesterday although I know he was comfortable with me I did not expect this. "It is ok Ben, um....please come inside" I stepped aside and allowed them to come inside. Ben happyly walked inside while the man who seemed to be his father gave me a funny look before stepping inside.

I locked the door behind them and ran up to my room to clean myself up. After taking my bath and changing into a big shirt and a short that reached my knees, I went to the kitchen to prepare my breakfast which was two pieces of toast. When the bread was successful in the toaster I went to the living room and saw both father and son sitting on the couch with their legs crossed. She smiled at the scene, then she remembered.

"Umm.....can I please know why you are here", after asking her question Ben brought out a picture from his bag, jumped down from the couch and ran to were Lily was standing and showed her the picture he drew.

It was a drawing of her and him sitting on the school bench with 'my friend' writing in big letter on top of the paper. She looked at the picture and then at Ben. He had a big smile on his face. her heart fluttered because she was in love with his smile,it was so contagious and she loved it.

She smiled back at him and took the drawing from him, she took a closer look at the picture, she loved it. The only person who has ever bought her anything was Melody but not any more because she just got a gift from another person.
