MANGATOON STARS: COMMENT AWARDS (FAQ SESSION)

⚠ This idea is still a work in progress but we would like to test how it would fly outside of the theoretical world. If you have a question or suggestion, please add it as a comment underneath this chapter and we will work together to address it.

Then you're in the right place.

Brought to you by the creators of MangaToon Stars: An Award Show, we present MangaToon Stars: Comment Awards. Here, we will showcase small extracts of your works on MangaToon and give the community the opportunity to review your work.

We will have three parts to the updates. The nomination updates, the reading updates and the summary updates.

The way the nomination process works is that you will be able to recommend your novel or chat story as a comment underneath any chapter that says 'Nomination Time!'

You are also free to nominate anybody else's novel or chat story but the catch is, you can only submit one contribution of yours- any more will result in a disqualification until the next nomination time.

After the number of comments/submissions rises to a forethought number (that will grow each nomination time) we will pick a submission at random and read through it.

We will take a screenshot (or screenshots, where necessary) of a small extract of any powerful point in the story and include it in our next chapter: 'Review Time!'

In Review Time, we will post the extract of the story below a short explanation of your story so far and ask our readers to review the work with a simple review form:

Any positive or negative comments?

As the number of submissions grow, we hope that this scheme will bring increased exposure to talented MT Users even though the whole scheme of Comment Awards means that you may have to be a little bit lucky to get selected in the first place.

In the 'Summary Time' chapters, we will post the average rating the fans gave the story on review time as well as the mode comment given on what they saw from 'Review Time' to give us a summary- a collective review on your story.

The author with the most highly rated story every month (if we manage to get this awards show off the ground) will get to choose a number that will offer them a random prize.

FAQ: What are the prizes?

The prizes may vary from large points numbers to automatic shortlisting and entry into Round 2 on MangaToon Stars: An Awards Show (our main awards show, which will be reopening submissions days on October 12 2020.)

FAQ: Do you have any plans to motivate the involved readers?

On MangaToon Stars: Comment Awards, we need both dedicated writers and honest readers who will keep up with our updates. We will give "shoutouts" to the users who make the comments with the most convincing analyses. If the user in question has contributions to offer, we will automatically reward them by making their contributions the topic of discussion in our next 'Review Time'.
