Characters (part 2

Then, we reached home, we found a voice message on the telephone.

it's from Minosa! wait, I thought, my mind was blank for a moment, Jenn took a hand over my head trying to say "it's alright" in her silence.

We found that she called up to tell that she was dropping in. I was ready for it, the past was past now, I promised to Jenn to give her another chance at my sister.

Minosa came, oh, I forgot that we used to call her min.

We smiled and talked. The atmosphere wasn't heavy as it used to be, we aren't college students anymore.

But I was still confused by the case I was handling.

"Do you want me to help you find some clues?" min said, and before I could even pull my lips apart, Jenn jumped in joy almost kicking me off my chair. "yes×100" Jenn nodded crazily and see, min was helping us handling the case.

"I want you tell me about the wounds and injuries with the dates" min said, just to be answered "Leave that to me" a voice says, and after realization dawned on me, it was Jenn

Of course it was Jenn, only she was the coroner here, I'm the detective, so as min.

The case was a bit different, there are many branches in Berlin, why us? it's not like there aren't enough good detectives.

Anyways, we were going to Berlin tomorrow, Min said she wanted to buy some toiletries. Jenn wanted to watch "stay gold" mv because she missed it out the day it was released, she said she'd be busy catching the pronunciation of the lyrics. I offered to go with Min but she said she'll be fine on her own.

I returned to my quite bedroom, turned off the lights, stood at the window with one slat of blinds held down, staring out into the street, A few minutes later Minosa appeared, a small silhouette in the gathering darkness.

She crossed the street, walking slowly, then turned and glanced up at my apartment. I released the blinds with a crackle and stepped back into the shadows.

After a minute I sat, looked at my hands. The room darkish Now, the late afternoon haze lying shadows against all the furniture. Everything looked heavier. I could smell Min's cigarillo like a devil's presence through the open door.

I knew I should get up, get back to packing, but I didn't move. An odd feeling come over me then. I could feel my hands and feet tingling like they wasn't mine next more, and then it seemed like some shadow passed over my heart. I shivered.

I must have slept, I woke with my head twisted hard to one side, a long line of droop dampening the front of my shirt. It was still dark. I got up, checked the clock, grimaced. Still a few hours yet.
