Running far away from home

It was already night and the moon light reflected from the window causing the room to brighten up a bit. Y/n woke up to the sound of a monotonous alarm and stared at the window. "Perfect" she said to herself and tip-toed to the balcony. She tied one end of the rope to the banister and threw the other end down to the back yard of her home, after looking down she closed her eyes and climbed down to the back yard but the rope suddenly snapped and she fell down hard on the ground hurting her knees. There was no time to sit there and cry in pain as she had to escape from the house and her step-parents. She gathered some strength and limped out but she suddenly a guard and quickly hid in the bushes. After a few seconds she noticed that the guard was fast asleep, she took the chance and limped out of the house as fast as her legs could carry her.

She walked for 2 hours and was finally away from her home. Every inch of her body was aching so she decided to spend the night sleeping somewhere. Luckily she found a plain land filled with old, broken and crashed cars so she decided to sleep in one of the cars. She had brought along a sleeping bag in her travel bag so she took it out and snuggled into it.

The next morning she woke up and searched for some jobs. She was well educated and had always been the best in business so she decided to apply for a job in Shen Hong, a multinational company with the highest stock market in the whole country. She was a nervous wreck as she handed her resume` and introduced herself. As the CEO of the company, Jeon Jungkook was too busy to take the interview he asked his assistant to take it instead. Y/n performed quite well and she was immediately accepted. "Congratulations! Your work begins from tomorrow" the assistant said as he left. She came back from the company and started searching for the cheapest house she could rent. She finally found a small apartment away form the city streets but it was ok for her as long as she has a house to stay for some months.

She had changed her sim card earlier so that her step-parents cannot get her. She happily entered the apartment throwing both her heels and sat on the couch. Without knowing, she was fast asleep and woke up in the evening. Her stomach grumbled as she had not eaten all day so she decided to head to the supermarket. She bought home some ramen and cooked it. After gulping down the ramen she felt better and slept on her bed.

In the middle of the night she woke up with cold sweat and trembling body. She had dreamt of her childhood memory where she and her parents had a car accident and her parents died but she was saved. Tears started rolling down her cheeks and she started crying. When she regained her consciousness she quickly wiped her tears off and went back to sleep.
