Because I’ve seen similar storylines where the main character ends up with a toxic male lead like Martin, I stopped reading for a while. When the story ended, I decided to finish it. I wasn’t sure what you meant by saying Martin and Jesse needed closure. To me, Jesse would always love Martin; even after choosing Jacob, he still carries the pain of letting him go and is clearly accustomed to Martin’s toxic treatment. But I really enjoyed your writing and how you expressed emotions.💕💕

TBH, I'm so sad and I'm crying😭 I was hoping to see a happy ending but as mentioned IRL this doesn't happen. I think somewhere they are still suffering because no one got real love and maybe Jacob knows that even tho Jesse is trying but somewhere he still loves martin and martin still loves him and Jesse does too😭

I think this is somewhat of a happy ending realistic one. because in reality , toxic relationships don't end well more of the time. one of the usually ends up dying sometimes maybe even both. best thing to do with toxic relationships is to separate and find The Only way of Living in fighting at least a bit of Happiness and peace. thanks for this story and ending. 😊🥰😸 take care 🤗
