When I finished 10th, I wanted to go for arts as I was neither interested in commerce nor science, I went to a school for 1 or 2 months. The school was starting arts major too, or that's what my father and principal told me. Later i got to know that i was in commerce major instead of arts. I quickly told my father that i will not go there. And you know what, even the principal was with my father. She even tried to brainwash me into thinking about being in commerce major. But I told my father that I hate commerce and I want to go into an arts major. My father said that we don't have any schools which has arts major near us, and whichever school has, they are in Muslim areas. So I went quiet (I will write the reason below). I didn't have any passion or dream, so I was then lost, and I was feeling defeated. But then I got to know about computer engineering. I got the hope again. I told my father that i want to pursue diploma in computer engineering. He agreed, and I am now pursuing a diploma in computer engineering course.

what can I even say when I'm in the same situation... since my sister didn't live up to their expectations so now it falls on me ..... and before I even realized what my dream was they had already decided what I should do and now neither I have option nor the courage to change my path. ....... but if you can please do what you want to or what you enjoy doing because if you choose what you don't want you might become a living robot. but as a well wisher I hope you can find something you truly desire.

me after willingly taking science stream regret taking it..I love bio but the thing is that science field is very saturated, it's about the rat race and marks more than knowledge..even if u do phd and become a proff u might not earn as much as a proff from arts or commerce stream because science field is really overrated and saturated..make ur parents understand that u won't be able to achieve anything in science if u r even a little bit not interested in that subject...don't take science it will ruin u trust me
