Chapter 1 - Execution

( At the Execution place )

Hundreds of people we’re watching the former Queen, Zein being executed publicly.

The only one that cared for her was her family and her bestfriend, Angelo.

“The former Queen, Zein dies.”

The announcer said at the stage

“Yes! She deserves to die! She seduced the Emperor and committed treason!”

One of the people said in the crowd

Hundreds of people we’re shouting of how disgusting she is, and what horrible things she did, even though she didn’t do it.

Angelo was merely watching..

making a tear fall down his eye, he knows that Zein didn’t do anything but.. he couldn’t do anything to stop the execution..

Elina said while hugging Cleo.

“Don’t worry, I’ll make you queen.”

Cleo said while smiling at the b*tch.

“B-but the queen dowager said that I am not suitable for the position as your empress.”

She said with a cute tone and makes a cute face while looking at him.

“Don’t worry, Elina.

You will be my queen, even you are not my wife.”

Cleo said while looking at her

Lea was angered and said

“But I want to be queen, right now!”

Luke Angelo Del Lavigne POV

I was panicking and at the same time sad, because of the death of the woman I love, she was the woman I only loved and I promised myself that I will love her till the end of my life and that I will protect her.

But.. I.. I.. failed to protect my one and only love?

I was frustrated and satted in my bed, trying not to burst out the sadness within me.

I can’t stop the tears that we’re streaming through my eyes.

I opened my eyes and saw the Duke Ethylaire and 2 other maids looking at me with concern, and I was verily confused that I am alive.

“What happened?”

I said while looking at the duke

“Sweetie, you fell down the stairs and hurt your head don’t you remember?”

The duke said while looking at me concernly

Like huh? why is he calling me sweetie?

“Give me a mirror, quick.”

I said

The other maid quickly got the mirror.

As soon as I had the mirror, I looked at my self and the girl that I was in was..

And I was surprised that you suddenly wanted to be the Empress, because you said before that you don‘t want to be the empress, what made you change your mind?”

I smiled arrogantly at him and said

“Oh, father I just realized that it is a great oppurtunity to join the royal family.”

The duke was stunned when I made my voice more arrogant.

He just smiled and said

“You’re acting strangely today, Andy...You’ve never said something like this..”

“Father, you must be overthinking..

Father can you go out for a while I’m pretty tired today..”

I said looking at him with a wide smile.

The duke nodded and left.

I let out a small chuckle.

“This time.. I will definetely make your downfall, Elina Lea Aclaire Heirsein!”

I said with a evil grin
