actually this destined mates the way they portray in these kind of novels should be wrong bcuz someone who is destined to be with you for eternity should be someone who really is good to only their mates and personality wise and aesthetic wise everything about them should tell their mates this should be only one for them not like in all novel they envy humans for ability to choose but dont they also end up with one at the end who was just their mr or ms right their destined one so Idk why someone would wish to be with many people before they finally find the right one for them these mate concepts in these novel distort the concept of fate so much that they show one has to go through many hurt or humiliation from their own mate before they finally settle down in peace I personally don't believe some who was fated to be your mate should be someone who make you go through all negative emotions and then try to heal you after all the damage they'd done if such a person is your other half it only means you were never really true mates
