Tangled In Love And Guns
Bright white lights flashing, nothing can be heard. Screaming and crying, but nothing seems to make a sound. Suddenly darkness falls, nothing is visible. Looking around for someone or something. Fear...all she feels is fear. In vain searching for help...then suddenly...a bright white shadow coming to swallow her whole. A scream...but nothing is heard.
Waking up with a blood curdling scream, hyperventilating. In a cold sweat, checking for a pulse, shivering. She gripped the sheets of the newly found bed he had taken her to, by force. No sex, but she wasn't allowed to escape. She looked around the room to find him next to her. Shirtless but pants one right, defined muscles, caramel toned skin, greenish brown eyes fluttered open. His low grunting when he got up and turned on the lamp next to him to give out dim lighting.
He caresses her face with the palm of his hand. Though she tenses up, she finds little comfort in his gesture, then pulls his hand form her cheek.
"E-Eduardo, I'm fine, estoy bien."
He looked into her big, hazel eyes with a worry stare.
"Tell me why I don't believe that, Sabrina?"
She looks down form his gaze and gives a very weak, and very fake smile in reassurance.
"Go back to sleep."
He stares, almost glaring at Sabrina, almost accusing her of lying to him. But Eduardo knew better than to argue with his queen, even though she didn't want to be his. She laid right by him, yet facing away, and he with his arm around her. Making her more tense, she bit back the tears that were forming in her eyes.
She didn't want this, she never wanted to get involved. But here she was, three days after she came to visit her best friend...why does it have to be like this?
~Three days ago~
Sabrina woke up this morning with classic bed head, morning breath, and only a ten minute time limit to get to LAX. She was supposed to be catching a flight at 11 am, it was already 10:35 am. Sabrina jumped out of bed and rushed to her studio apartment bathroom and she takes a quick five minute shower. She grabs her luggage she packed the night before and got into her tight blue jeans and a loose yellow blouse. She fixed up a tiny bit of concealer and foundation on her face. Tiny bit of blush and brown eye shadow with mascara. It wasn't any extravagant look like she had done for multiple clients she has had. From Beverly Brats to Kim Kardashian herself. She herself wasn't famous, she just got to work with famous people.
She looked at herself in the mirror, a fairly fit female, age 23, graduated cosmetology school two years ago, has long dark brown hair, hazel eye, and a bit of a curvy body<3. She never liked her eyes, they reminded her too much of the man she hated the most in her life. Her father, not even, a worthless pathetic little shit whole left their family to be with a younger, skank of a woman. No matter, he was gone from her life and she had her number one right by her side, her rock. Her mother, a woman who was the strongest beyond compare, even when her heart was blown to bits by a man she had met when they were 16.
She dashed out the door to the streets of LA, down the elevator connecting her apartment. Luckily there was already an Uber waiting for her. She got into the back and made small talk with the gentleman in the front driving the grey Chevy Malibu. They luckily made it with her having ten minutes to spare, but they had to make an embarrassingly loud announcement to hold the flight for her at the security check point. With that she rushed to the flight gates and got on. She was now on her way to Cancun, Mexico.
After the almost five and a half hour flight, they finally arrived. She rushed through the crowd of people of the plane, got her luggage at pick up and ran straight to customs. The officer checked her passport and with a friendly smile greeted her.
"Buen venido a Mexico. Welcome to Mexico Señorita Ariz."
Sabrina gave a warm smile back and replied to the kind man.
"Gracias señor."
She rushed out the gates and to the front entrance. There she saw her best friend, Isabella. They ran to each other with open arms and embraced one another.
"Aye, que cariña Sabrina. It's been too long!"
"A ti tambien Izzy, it really has been too long. You look A-MAZING!"
With girly and giggly laughs, they leave the airport in a cab to Izzy's house...
~Present~
Sabrina woke up, in that same foreign and modern bed. She has a jacket and sweatpants on, she sniffed the air and could smell eggs and toast. She weakly and shakily walked to the kitchen out of the bedroom. She turn left down the hall, and walked in to the marble countered, and blue accented kitchen. There, she saw the tall masculine Eduardo cooking breakfast, she saw a glass of orange juice waiting at the counter. Like a scared puppy, she walked to the counter and grabbed the glass and took a small sip, Eduardo saw and smiled gently.
"Good morning mi reina."
With an intense and menacing glare she looked to him.
"Don't call me your queen."
He laughed and made a plate of toast and eggs, and handed it to her.
"You hungry? Please, e-."
Before he could finish, she scarfed down the toast and half the eggs. He chuckled deeply, as if he found a starving woman amusing.
"You're going to need your strength mi reina."
"W-what...mmf...for Eduardo?"
He smirked and tossed her a gallon bag stuffed with something heavy.
"Open it."
She unzipped the bag, and the contents made her whole body shake. Five bricks of cocaine and at least half a million in hundred dollar stacks. Eduardo leaned in on her ear and whispered.
"I need you to carry this for me...to the boarder."
Sabrina almost began to cry, but she fought back those tears.
But that doesn't mean her heart sank, all the way down her stomach.
