Wake up!

It was only the begging of the sun starting to rise when Yuki walked out of her house. A cup of ice cold water was in her hand. She was quite because not very many people were up. She walked over to Kai’s house and didn’t want to walk on the door. She had planned this but not very well. She climbed to his window. Luckily, the window was cracked only slightly. She pushed it open with all her might but tried to be as quite as she could. Once there was a space large enough for her to slide through, she went in head first. When she slid in her head hit the ground.

“OOOOW!” She whisper-screamed.

She looked over at Kai. He was still asleep. Then she noticed his room. She walked around and slowly noticed all the expensive and old items in his room. Her mind went back to reality and she walked over to Kai. She just looked at him. He looked like he was warm. Yuki knew it was cold outside and didn’t want him to get a cold. She sat down the cup and put her hand on his face.

“Kai?” She said softly

“Get ready and let’s go to school.”

His eyes opened and the first thing that came out of his mouth was,

“I missed you.”

“I missed you as well. Get ready for school and let’s go. Okay?”

“What did you say?”

“Get ready for school?”

“Before that.”

“I missed you?”

“Yes but you said you missed meas well ?”

“Aye?”

“Did I say I missed you?”

“Aye.”

Kai’s face looked flushed and red. He moved over and stood up. Once he stood up Yuki’s face looked flushed and red. He was in blue sweats and didn’t have a shirt on. He looked over at Yuki.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable. I will put a shirt on.”

“No, no, no, that’s not it.”

“Eh?”

“I DONT MEAN I LIKE YOU LIKE-”

Kai ran over to Yuki and put his hand over her mouth. Her face got even more red. His chest was right in front of her face.

“Ssshhhh.”

“Sorry.”

“It’s okay I just do not want you to get in to trouble.”

“Right.”

They walked to school together. A girl walked up to Yuki and Kai when they got to school. She had black hair and green eyes.

“Hi.”

“Hello” Yuki replied

Kai rolled his eyes and walked away. “WAIT KAI!” Both Yuki and the girl said as they ran after him. They stopped to glance at Kai and he looked annoyed.

“Yuki. I need to speak to you.”

“Okay.”

“That girl, her name is Lyla and she is in love with me. People think she is amazing but I know she is a jerk. Stay away from her. Okay?

“Okay.”

“I just don’t want you to get hurt, she is dangerous.”

“Awwww, you care so much.”

“Really? You have to tease me?”

“Of course! That’s what best friends do!”

Yuki walked away while Kai stood in silence overthinking every word she had said with his face flushed.
