Chapter one

As the morning sun shone on my skin in the early morning of the day

my head kept banging from the hangout i had with my friends from college . i rolled out of my bed to make coffee and some toast cause i have a long day ahead .

I'm Kim Chaerin , a girl in her early 20's trying to live life and be happy . Am a junior artist in a Arts college in Busan , South Korea . I know you will be thinking am a easy going person with a perfect relationship , a loving family and all but in reality i am insecure, never fallen in love , and have the most shitty family. Mom had cancer and had been in the hospital for months and my father went on drinking and getting into fights when drunk .Living alone in an apartment close to school for convenience . I have two close friends i met at college we have all had our share of laughter, arguments and long lasting memories but i still feel distant from them in many ways

"I am on my way" i told jisu . I quickly showered and dressed up and made my way to school . "Where have you been" Jisu asked as i sat beside her . "I had a hangover from last night party" i told her . The class was over and it was already late and i realized i needed to catch the bus home . i got home exhausted and hungry and as fate will have it i ran out of groceries . His eyes shone like the sun as it arises from the horizon of the sea as he looked into mine . "Ummm excuse me miss what do i want to buy" i snapped back to reality as he spoke . His voice was calm and gentle bringing a warmth in my heart . " Am so sorry , Give me two packs of spicy noodles and one bottle of soju please " . My heart could stop beating fast as i looked at him . i began to scan him with mt eyes he was tall , had a pointed nose , i wondered how his lips would feel , i also wondered if he had a girlfriend or boyfriend. He handed my order to me and he smiled . Haaa i thought i was going to bust open and the butterflies in my belly would fly out .

Is this how love at first sight feels like ??

i was so excited to see him again that i could not sleep a wink that night , i needed someone to talk to about this and i needed someone who could understand me and my feelings . I woke up the next day feeling happy , i showered and got ready for class but first i need to go to the convenient store again . i bought a peach flavored drink and a cookie and sat there to eat them and eat him with my eyes . He was more handsome in the morning sun . A message from my phone stopped my day dream and i was so happy as i read that classes had been canceled for the day . i called Jisu and Hani to come over but they say they were busy i guess busy with their boyfriends . There was a gap in my friendship with them . Both Jisu and hani had boyfriends and am here daydream over an employee at a convenient store which was hot by the way . Immediately Someone walked into the store and it was a guy . he was so feminine and i instantly thought he was gay . He walked past me and tripped over at my front i tried every way not to laugh but i couldn't hold it . he stood up and gave me a sassy look and walked out of the store without buying anything .

My convenient store guy i wanted to know more about him but i didn't want to feel like a perverted stalker or anything so i just kept going to the store everyday and finally he asked for my number according to him i am a regular customer so he wanted to keep in touch . i was over cloud nine my hands were shaking as i typed my number on his phone .He took his phone and told me we will be in touch and i was like no problem .

Back in my room , i was screaminggggg into my pillow cause i was so happy and head over heels for this guy . i laid on my back and wondered where all this will lead to .
