Rain

You told me when I will get drunk you will take care of me. So where are you now? Why aren't you here to take care of me. You must be enjoying your engagement party now.

Thinking that Sia take another sip of alcohol from the bottle she is holding in her hand.She staggered a bit and take another sip of alcohol. She knew that she is drunk, her alcohol limit is very low but she is drinking more and more to ease the pain of her broken heart. Staggering she stopped in front of a electronics shop. The reporter on TV giving the weather report. There will be heavy rain to night. Walking forward she sat on a bench. And drink the last drop of wine on the bottle. The weather was getting cooler indicating that there will be rain soon. She put her head on the bar of railing on back. She can feel the cold wind blowing her untied hair like they are trying to comfort her. But the cold wind is not giving her any comfort will the rain do.

The rain poured heavily. People are running for shelter.

"Where is my shelter?" she wondered.

She looked down on her phone. 2 missed call and 5 messages.

A last bit of hope gathered inside her.

Is it him? Did he called and messaged after I leave from there? She wiped her wet eyes and looked on her phone.

No, It was her best friend Maggie.

The disappointment was showing clearly on her face. She was sitting there like the time stopped for her.She closed her eyes and faced towards cloudy dark night sky. The rain drops are falling on her face. No one can say is it rain drops or her own tears falling down from corner of her eyes.

She remember the first day she meet him it was heavily pouring just like today. That time his tears are swept away by rain and today her.

She draw a small box from her pocket. It was a small box used for rings. She planned to propose him tomorrow on their anniversary. She opened the box and looked at the rings. It was couple ring with two name craved on them " Irwin ♡ Sia".

Irwin the guy who brought light to her life , the person whom she loved and the person for whom she is crying.

She wanted to throw that box but she can't because it was expensive. She worked hard and saved for a long time to brought that couple ring.

It was lightening but that doesn't affecting her like she become deaf.

The pain she was feeling inside she never felt like that. Years ago when her parents died she cried like this and 3year ago when her granny died she cried like this. But now the pain is different. She got betrayed by the one she loved , the one with whom she wanted to spend her life. She started to think about the first encounter with the man she loved, the one who once told her that he will never let her shed a drop of tear.
