I'm a nursing student and was assigned to OT ,we had this really disturbing case. A patient was admitted because she had swallowed a lot of batteries like not one or two, but dozens. They operated and removed around 20, but apparently there were more they couldn’t find. When we asked her why, she said she was very stressed and that she had been eating batteries for a long time. It honestly shocked me😶
