WEIGHT OF LONGING

"WEIGHT OF LONGING"

I let the ocean wash away my castle

And wept for eternity

Waiting for the waves

To come again and wash away my tears

But never realized

I wandered on a dried lake.

I searched for the clouds with dilated pupils

Hoping the rain would stitch the cracks of land

Embroidering the cracks of my soul

But never realized

The clouds evaporated

Just like the brightness from my stars.

This is 2nd ever English poem that I wrote in my life.
