Episode 2

Alessandra went to her designated meet-up place at the market square. It was already 10:00 P.M. And she was all alone...

"I shouldn't have gone here..." Alyona mumbled to herself.

She suddenly heard some footsteps from behind her and she screamed as she pulled out her gun, closed her eyes tightly and aimed it at whoever was at her back.

"Woah!" Said the innocent-sounding voice of a boy. Alessandra opened her eyes slowly and let her hand fall to her side as she realized it was just a harmless young boy around her age. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you, do you know where Alessandra Leverose is?" Asked the boy.

Alessandra just stared at him. He looked so... Simple. Baggy clothes, messy dark hair, muddy brown eyes, tan skin, just like any normal person. "I-I am Alessandra Leverose." She replied.

"Oh, nice to meet you, girlfriend! My name is John Paul, John Paul McCartney." John Paul smiled and reached his hand out for a shake. Alessandra just ignored it and smiled back awkwardly. "Y-Yeah, nice to meet you too."

"It's pretty late out here, do you mind if I walk you home?"

"Yes, I mind- Uhh, I mean, no, of course I don't mind at all!" Alessandra faked a chuckle, mentally scolding herself for almost declining her very first boyfriend's offer.

John Paul nodded. "Alright then, lead me where you live."

Alessandra nodded back and started walking in the empty streets with John Paul. After a while of awkward silence, Alessandra broke it.

"U-Um... Have you had a lover before me?"

"Hm? Nope! You're my first."

"Oh, alright. Why did you sign up for matchmaking, then?"

"Well, I had to interact with a woman too, you know? My Mother died giving birth to my younger sister who died for the same reason too when I was 6."

"Oh, I'm... Sorry about that."

"It's okay, I was just telling but I'm not trying to guilt trip you or anything like that, I promise."

After a month of their relationship, Alessandra observed John Paul's obedience, patience and respect for her which she kinda liked about him in a platonic way. John Paul even went to the same school and class as Alessandra just to see her every day which was not a big deal at all.

One day, it was a Monday morning and Alessandra was talking to her friends.

"Guys, come on, it's not that hard, just don't let the whole school speak about my celebrity life or else I'm doomed with John Paul." Alessandra said.

"Fine, girl, we got you." One of her friends responded.

Alessandra smiled, happy that her friends were willing to help her at these times. "Well, if it doesn't concern you, I-"

"Oh, there you are, Alessandra Leverose... John Paul McCartney's girlfriend, right?" An older boy's voice appeared and Alessandra turned around, only to see a boy slightly taller than her that looked a bit similar to John Paul. He placed a hand on his chest as a form of introduction and smiled politely. "My name is Justin McCartney, John Paul's older brother."
