The characters don’t quite feel like themselves anymore, and the core concept that once made the novel unique seems to have shifted. Turning JK into an omega, for example, takes away from what initially made his character compelling and distinct.
At this point, the narrative comes across as a bit stretched, as if it’s continuing without the same purpose it began with. It might be more meaningful to return to what made the story special in the first place—letting the characters grow while staying true to their original identities.
Perhaps instead of altering them so drastically, the story could focus on both of them navigating this new world together, healing from their pasts, and gradually working toward their dreams. That way, their journey feels more grounded, and the emotional connection remains authentic without losing the essence of who they are.
