Prologue

Alexia Ruizz Wisteria, a simple 20 years old girl who found solace in the company of books, she is introverted and mostly prefer to be alone, she also have this big round black reading glass everyday, therefore being titled as a nerd by everyone…

And then one day, she just came out of the library holding stacks of books when she accidentally bumps into Anthony Livanez, a 3rd year senior, Anthony apologized to her and helped her pick up the fallen books and even helped her carry it…

Since then, they became friends, the only friend Alexia had, and due to Anthony's continuous kindness towards her, she fell in love with him, though she is afraid of telling him since she was afraid that Anthony will reject her and her only friend will be gone too…

But faith is playing games with Alexia's life, as one day, her whole life changes…

On that faithful day, Alexia woke up feeling groggy, and she had countless of little accidents and mistakes that day…

She thought her bad day wouldn't gone worse until she was about to leave school when she saw Anthony, she smiled and waved at him and called him, but she froze when Anthony looks at her coldly and with disgust…

Beside him is Narra, her classmate and number one bully, Narra had a satisfied smirk in her face and it sends bad feelings towards Alexia's heart…

And then suddenly…

“Alexia, do you really have feelings for me?” Anthony asked making Alexia nervous and face red in shyness…

“W-what…, who told you that?”. Alexia nervously asked.

Suddenly Narra played something, a recording of when Alexia thought she was alone and was imagining and talking to herself about the future if one day she confessed to Anthony and Anthony accepted her…

When Anthony heard it again, his face turned more disgusted, and Alexia felt her face burn in humiliation as the students who is watching the scene and also heard the recording started whispering profanities and sarcastic remarks about her while laughing silently…

Her humiliation got worse when suddenly Anthony spoke in a very cold and cruel voice “I don't like you, and I will never like a nerd like you, you aren't even pretty, I always wonder why I spent time with you, maybe because I just felt pity that you are always alone, I just didn't expect you would think of such things about me, you are so disgusting.”

This words felt like a stab to Alexia's heart as her crush and first love rejected her, she also felt humiliated as she was rejected in front of the whole school, and what hurts more is that he said it while looking at her with disgust…

All the students laughed and started openly mocking her, and Anthony who once always saves her and comforts her whenever there are someone who say mean things to her, just watched in the corner looking at her with unreadable expression…

Since then the bullying got worse…, Alexia tried to ignore it, telling herself that she was used to it…, but day by day everything got more worser and worser…, her locker was marked with cursed words, her books destroyed, water and garbage was thrown at her…

Her parents tried to complain to the school principals unfortunately though the school principal's daughter is Narra, her number one bully, the principal only promised to do something to satisfy her parents, but he never did anything at all, and since Alexia stopped telling her parents about what's happening they thought it was absolved already…

She got more and more depressed day by day but she still tried to act strong…

And then one day, her classmates put peanut powder on her snacks and she was allergic to peanuts, so she was rushed to the hospital and almost lost her life…

Her parents was so angry because of that incident and filed a case against the school, but Alexia stopped them saying she doesn't want anymore trouble…

Her parents doesn't want to let it go at first, but because of Alexia's pleads they finally relented in a condition that Alexia will be going with them to her mother's hometown, the Eroville City…

Eroville City is a famous but unreachable city for others since all those who lives in Eroville City are the most powerful families in the whole world, and that city is rich with many gold, gems and other rare minerals that made it the most richest city in the whole world…

Alexia was shocked when she heard that her mother was born is an Erovillian, she knows her family is rich, but not to that extent…

Alexia was so excited to see Eroville, not because of it's wealth, but because she always heard that Eroville is a very beautiful city, therefore she always wants to see it…

Somehow she had a feeling that this place will be the place where her life changes for better…
