Jk (softly): “Still hiding from me?”

(She looks up, startled. Jk stands there, hands in his pockets, a teasing smirk on his lips—but his eyes hold something deeper.)

Ade (defensive): “I’m not hiding.”

Jk (chuckles): “Then why do you look guilty?”

(Ade sighs, closing her book. Jk pulls out the chair beside her and sits, resting his chin on his hand as he studies her.)

Jk: “Why didn’t you tell me sooner?”

Ade (hesitant): “Would you have believed me?”

(Jk pauses. He knows she’s right. If she had told him outright that they were childhood soulmates, he would have laughed it off.)

Jk (softly): “You should’ve let me remember on my own.”

(Ade looks up, confused, but then Jk reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small, worn-out bracelet. Her breath catches—it's the same one from their childhood, the one he had tied around her wrist as a symbol of their promise.)

Ade (whispers): “You… kept it?”

Jk (nods, voice gentle): “I didn’t know why, but I could never throw it away. Now I understand.”

Scene 2: The Unfinished Story

(Jk leans forward, eyes never leaving hers.)

Jk: “Ade, fate brought us back together, but what happens next is our choice.”

(Ade's heart races. Is he saying what she thinks he is?)

Jk (smirks): “So tell me, mystery girl—are you ready to stop running?”

(A warm silence hangs between them. Ade takes a deep breath, then slowly reaches out, her pinky brushing against his.)

Ade (softly): “I don’t want to run anymore.”

(Jk smiles, linking his pinky with hers—just like they did as kids. The red string glows faintly around their fingers, invisible to everyone else but them.)

Jia (grinning): “Look behind you.”

(Ade turns just in time to see Jk standing a few feet away, holding two cups of hot chocolate.)

Jk (smirks, handing her one): “Figured you might be cold.”

(Ade takes it, warmth spreading through her fingers—and her heart.)

(They walk together through the festival, the energy around them alive, yet a comfortable silence lingers between them. Then, Jk suddenly stops.)

Jk: “Ade.”

(She looks at him, surprised by his serious tone.)
