Chapter One

It was an early winter morning. The season was nearing it's end. The sun rose spreading it's soft warm rays.

"It's already been five days..", Leolin muttered as he gazed through the window of the dinning hall.

"Hm? What?", the girl seating beside him spoke up.

"No. Nothing, sis.", Leo replied to Linnea and concentrated back to his food.

The Hills family was currently at the dining table having their first meal of the day.

Wilbur, father of Leo and Lin, was done. A servant immediately served him his morning coffee. As he took a sip, he inquired Leo, "Do you really want to take the entrance exam?"

Leo had finished his food as well. Another servant was pouring him a cup of tea.

"Yes, dad."

"Are you sure about this?"

"Yes.", he nodded his head.

In reply Wil sighed, "As you wish, son."

Leo drank the black tea served to him. Admits he could feel his mother and elder sister stealing glances at him.

"Is something the matter, mom?", he asked first.

"Oh, um, I was wondering if that is okay..."

"The exam?"

"Yes, we can get you admitted to the university you want. Why go through so much trouble, dear?"

It was true. They were a prestigious and wealthy family. If Leo demanded something, he would get that immediately. And that's exactly how he had spent his life.

But this time was different. Yesterday, for the first time ever, Leo declared that he would get in a university by his own. His family members, though a bit happy to see his determination, were astounded. Agitated by the thought of something wrong happened to Leo, the mansion was turned upside down until he reassured and calmed them down.

"I... "

"It's alright, Sophia.", Wil spoke before Leo could continue. "He is being so passionate about study for the first time. Let him try. It'll also be good for him."

"Okay.", Sophia sighed.

The rest of the time was spent in silence. Soon his parents left for work. Lin also headed for her university. Leo was not required to go anywhere. There were servants and a few workers in the house, but it didn't bother him. He was used to having them around since childhood.

He entered his room and sat at a corner of his bed. His eyes fell on the calendar on the desk.

5th February 2015.

After his death in the ER, he jolted up in his 20 year-old-self. At first, he thought it was a hallucination created for departed souls or something alike. After 24 hours, it became evident that he indeed came back in time. Or is it that their souls merged? He didn't know. He took the whole day to calm himself down. From the next day he planned on tasks he must do. He never got a higher education due to his stubbornness in training to become the perfect omega wife for Theodore. So, his first plan is to get into a university. He wanted to do it by doing proper study and not take any help from his parents or social status.

He has to change himself in order to get a different future.

He went for his chair and sat down to study. As he was completely immersed hours passed without him noticing.

At 10:42 AM his phone rang up. It was a message from Lin. As his eyes fell on the content of the text he froze.

[Baby brother!

Great news!

Max and Theo are coming with me!

We're gonna have lunch together.
