~THE GIFT~

...There was a girl named Selene. She was an optimistic little gal who had wide imagination and was always curious. She is very interested in their history and loves reading books, specifically the book titled "The Deadly Curse of Night". The story was all about a woman who accidentally provoked Cynthia, the Moon Goddess. She cursed Mariana with immortality, then Mariana met a knight named Vince, he is a knight who helped to win against the enemies in the battlefields. Their love for each other became the reason for their eternal suffering. Vince being reincarnated over and over again, while Mariana can't do anything than just wait for Vince and witness him meet his demise. She was just in the 1st chapter of the book when she fell asleep. As Selene drifted off to sleep, she felt an unusual sensation wash over her. It was as if the words on the page had come alive, and she was being transported to a different realm. She closed her eyes, and when she opened them again, she found herself standing in a lush, moonlit garden. A figure stood before her, cloaked in the shadows. As Selene approached, the figure stepped forward, revealing a woman with piercing light blue eyes and long, flowing white hair....

Cynthia : Welcome, young one, I am Cynthia, the Moon Goddess. You have been chosen to fulfill an ancient prophecy, one that will bring balance to the forces of love and immortality. You see, child, Mariana's curse has been ongoing for centuries. Her love for Vince has been a beacon of hope, but also a source of suffering. The time has come for the curse to be broken, and for Mariana and Vince to finally be together in peace.

...*Cynthia hands Selene a small box* ...

Cynthia : In this box is a gift, one that will allow you to communicate with Mariana and Vince across the boundaries of time and space. You must use this gift to guide them towards each other, and to help them break the curse.

...As Selene stood there, the moon shining down on her, Selene felt a strange sensation wash over her. She looked down at her hands, and saw that the box was glowing with a soft, ethereal light, She was amazed by the divine power flowing through the small box that the Moon Goddess gave her....

Cynthia: You have been chosen, Selene. You are the key to unlocking the destiny of Mariana and Vince. May the light of the moon guide you on your journey.

...Selene watched as Cynthia disappeared, a soft warm light blue light engulfed the Goddess's body and disappeared to the stars above. Then Selene wakes up, she rubs her eyes to clear her vision. She's in her bedroom, 8:30 A.M. Selene yawns and ponders if all of that was just a dream. She looks at the book in her clutches, she's still in the 1st Chapter when she fell asleep last night. Her mother knocked on the door, a soft, gentle voice echoed behind the door....

Diane: Selene, darling? Are you awake?

Selene: Oh! Come in mom!

...Selene looks at the book again and sees the Moon Goddess smile at her and the small box that Cynthia gave her was beside Selene....
