episode 4 Mia's side

I was trying to come to terms with what was happening, I was so in shock that I did not even know that my strong legs that had given me three gold medals in the sport of running had given way.

My father ,my beloved father....... was arrested for murder, how can this be? My Sister Tia was holding me, rocking back and forth crying the tears that should be coming from me, but my brain did not seem to understand the emotion that I was to be feeling. My world had stopped and I was not even died.

Tia's dad, daddy William , who is my father's best friend since high school stooped in front of me and said, "it's okay, your not only, we are here with you so you can cry, please just cry." and he pull us into his embrace.

I don't know what kind of face I was making to have him say those words, but I'm glad he did, because my brain finally sorted out my emotions and I cried still I black out.

Daddy William most have put Tia and I to bed. My body felt sore but I couldn't be sure if it's from all the crying or from Tia's bad sleeping position .

I left the room with Tia still sleeping and went downstairs to the kitchen before I could enter I heard mommy Jennifer crying and daddy William telling her that he already called around for a lawyer .

I entered the room and mommy Jennifer bid me to came to her. She is the only mother I know, and also my mom's stepsister. My mom died in an accident when I was only three years old.

I grew up in this house, so Tia is more like a sister than a friend. At that time dad was still working off shore, he left that line of work when I entered high school and I told him I wanted to live with him.

"Are you hungry?" Mom asked bring me back to reality. She had a sad smail and her eyes were puffed up like a pufferfish, I'm pretty sure mine was the same. We settled down for dinner, and I settled in my mind that I couldn't wait until tomorrow to call the lawyer.
