"Mommy, what's happening? Why are Mr. and Mrs. Smith here?"

"Anak, they're here because you know your dad was friends with them, right? So before your dad passed away, they had an agreement. If they had a boy and we had a girl, we would marry you and Drake as soon as possible."

I looked at Drake and he smirked, like he was enjoying this.

"What, Mommy? Without my permission? Why, Mommy?"

"Look, iha, your dad was my best friend, and I wanted to repay him for all the good things he did for me. So we decided to arrange your marriage with Drake, iha. It's the least I could do for your dad as a thank you. And in return, it's a partnership with your brother's company." Uncle Renz said.

I looked at Mommy and Kuya, and they both smiled.

"Bunso, Drake is my friend and I trust him. Besides, I know he won't let you down, just like how Mommy and I have always been there for you. Please agree to the arranged marriage with Drake, please Bunso. And besides, we grew up together, you know Drake's personality."

After a few hours, I felt someone hugging my waist. At first, I thought it was just a dream and ignored it.)
