The moment we entered the mansion I was like wow!,everything was drenched in gold and jade, My eyes focused on a certain person wearing a black tuxedo, I’m not gonna lie he’s hot

“ This is my grandson” the old men gestured for the men in black to come closer which he did, I was also wondering why there’s so much people here a family reunion maybe? No impossible must be a business proposal since were here

“ Greetings to everyone who are here my name is Xion Gabrielle Cattaneo” well damn good name, after that the old man went to the middle along with my father which sparked a bone in me,they both shaked hands and he gestured for me to get close which I quickly followed,

“ Allow me as well to introduce my daughter” my father said as he opened his arms at me, I immediately put my brightest smile and spoke

“Such a pleasure to meet you folks, Elyseana Ruiz Barone” well I’d hate to admit that introduction was a bit slang but good enough.I was surprised when xion came to my side by the order of his grandfather of course

“Now let us raise our glasses to the engagement between the Barone and Cattaneo clan” everyone was clapping except for us, WHAT THE ACTUAL F**K??? What engagement???

“I beg you’re pardon” I whispered to my father which he simply answered with

“I will explain later” at that moment I stormed out of the banquet hall only to be followed by my parents

“Elyseana you better not turn your back at me,don’t you dare forget how much you owe me!” At that moment I snapped

“ Wtf do you mean engagement huh? I know I owe more than my life but this!? You’re doing way too fu****g much!” I shouted without remorse

“You have no escape,you’re wedding is at the end of the week” he striked a glare at me

“Dad, seriously I don’t even know him!?”by the time I finished my sentence my tears were already streaming

“You will get to know him! Now you better get back inside,you won’t like the consequences Elyseana” he said as he walked off with my mother

I couldn’t help but crouch down and cry,the first thing I did was call Sophia but she was knowhere to be reached,probably clubbing, and I ended up in the bathroom to freshen up before going back inside the banquet

I was offered with champagne by the butler,I was about to shake him off when I saw the devils approaching,soo that’s I ended up with one I don’t even drink champagne

“Elyse,could you come here for a moment” ofc I’d have to follow, Xion was with them

The head of the cattaneo’s gave me a quick peck on my cheeks then turned to Xion

“My dear would you look at you’re dear fiancé\~” I had shivers when I heard that cause damn I was single just now then now I have a fiancé!? Xion glanced at me and I couldn’t do anything but look somewhere else

“Right...I’ll ask my butlers to take you’re luggage to the mansion” he said with no expression at all,to which I replied with a simple nod

“ I want Sophia to be my maid of honor” I interrupted, if I’m getting married Sophia has to be part of it .

“Alright then, tommorow Xion will go with you for you’re dress fitting, isn’t that right Xion?” His mother exclaimed Exitedly,and he just answered with a nod
