The betrayal

“We all know that Lady Pearl thought of Lady Amabilia. She wanted her to have a happy family.” Says Hengry. “What’s the use, she left us only after 1 year, Amabilia was born and I as a grandfather have failed to protect her. I cannot go near her when she cries or wants somebody’s love.” Says eyes with full of tears. “You feel guilty for what happened after a year she was born. But it was not your fault to begin with.” “She almost died when she was poisoned. I let my guard down. There are too many enemies waiting for me to go to wars. I am scared that something might happen to her again.” Says in a distressful tone. “What should I do so that she will be able to grow up happily? Tell me what, should I do Henry?” He starts shedding tears. Jaeboem heard all this. He starts feeling more guilty, so he run toward his room.

He shuts his door.“Why am I feeling this pain?” he asks. He lays on his bed looking at the ceiling and after a while he fall asleep. In his dreams he saw everything that happened to him in his past life.

DREAMING

The TV is on and Jaeboem could hear his mother shouting at his father and best friend.

“How could u guys betray me? I trusted you guys.” She starts getting all emotion. She goes and grabs her brest friend shoulder,” how could you do that to me, laura? I helped you and you stab me. Why? Why? She starts sobbing. She sees Jaeboem looking all confused. She sits at the couch putting her head on her hand. Trying her best to hide her tears, “Jaeboem you have to get ready for school”. Jaebeom doesn’t say anything. She takes Jaeboem hand and takes him to the room. She changed him to school uniform without saying anything. She takes him to school. After taking him to entrance school, a huge crowd of reporters started gathering him and his mother. “Ma’am how do you feel about this?” asks a question by a reporter. “Did you know about your husband affair?” asks another. “what do you plan to do now?” asks another one. “we heard she is pregnant is that true?” asks another. Jaeboem looks all confuse and looks at his mother. He could see that she is trying her best to hold back her tears. All this, questions were stabbing her and crushing her heart. She stood there frozen and Jaeboem who was a little child started crying. After a while security comes and makes way for Jaeboem and his mom to go inside the school. They went inside. His mother hugs Jaeboem tightly and starts crying. He too starts crying again seeing his mother crying. He has never seen his mother crying this badly. For a while she cried. “Be a good boy at school. I will come and pick u up after school” his mother says. Jaebeom nods and goes to his classroom.
